Chicken Parmesan Recipes are one of my favorites to make at home, but also chicken parmesan is one of my favorites to order at a restaurant. This dish initially intimidated me, but realizing I could make it without frying the chicken makes it less intimidating and tastes fantastic. And can you go wrong with pasta for dinner as well?

As I have gotten older, I prefer to be a homebody, but nothing about being a homebody means sacrificing comfort food. Knowing what goes into your food is a perk of eating at home. Changing the breadcrumb seasoning in this recipe is a great way to change the taste. Plus, weeknight dinners deserve to have tasty food!
What is Chicken Parmesan
The traditional recipe for Chicken Parmesan is also known as Chicken Parmigiana. It is considered a popular Italian-American dish. This is most commonly made using tomato sauce, melted cheese, and breaded chicken cutlets or pieces.
Boneless chicken breasts are pounded into a thinner breast with a meat mallet, coated in breadcrumbs, fried, and topped with tomato sauce and cheese. This is then baked until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Chicken Parmesan is a popular comfort food dish served in Italian-American restaurants with spaghetti or fettuccini noodles garnished with fresh herbs like Parsley and Basil. The Macaroni Grill Chicken Parmesan and Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan Recipes are the most popular choices. Personally, the Olive Garden one got me hooked on this meal.

how to store chicken parmesan
Store your leftover chicken parm in an airtight container. You can keep it in the fridge for up to 5 days after cooking.
Storing leftovers properly requires the right tools! My preferred storage method is if the leftovers can be sealed in a food saver. If not, then an air-tight container or Ziploc bag for the fridge is the way I go. The air-tight container and a freezer Ziploc bag are the next best bet for freezing the leftovers. I also use a food scale to measure portions into serving sizes.
