Grilled Corn On The Cob In Husk is one of my favorite ways to make corn on the cob!! I love my grill this year!! It is so nice to be able to cook our food outside. One of my new favorites is to make grilled sweet corn on the cob. It is in season right now, and we have yet to pick up a bad ear of corn so far this year!

Last year, we made corn on the cob in foil (see it -> here), but I had to try it made in the corn on the cob in the husk on the grill. It did not disappoint us at all, plus it is one side dish that all the kids love to eat. I love being able to pick it up for great prices at the farm stores.

How To Make Grilled Corn On The Cob In Husk:
Fire up your grill. We did ours on a gas grill, but I am pretty sure it would work great on charcoal or a fire pit.
Peel back the husk and rub butter all over the corn on the cob.
Gently sprinkle with garlic salt and other seasonings.
Re-wrap the corn husk around the corn.

Place on the top rack of the grill and grill for about 20 to 30 minutes. I left mine the whole time our meat was cooking.
Be sure to flip/roll the corn every so often.
Serve!
Use caution opening the husk as the corn may be steamy. You can add some extra butter if you want as well.

What is your favorite seasoning for corn on the cob? Have you grilled yours before?

Changing the seasonings is a great way to make different flavor combinations. This is the perfect side dish to serve at backyard bbq gatherings all summer. It is a great option, and there is not the best corn recipe, but any of these is a great option. Mexican street corn toppings are unique on grilled corn kernels.

Yum yum yum! This looks so good! Last year I had some failures with grilling corn. Now, I’ll know what to do next time! Thanks!

I find grilling the corn in the husk seems to make it taste better!
Hi Jenny…I am anxious to give your recipe a try! We are getting a new grill next week and so I’m chomping at the bit to try out some new grill recipes.
Until then, hope your week is grand.
Hugs, Lynn
I peel back husks carefully, remove the silks, brush on lots of melted Kerry Gold Butter that has several drops of liquid smoke mixed in, apply salt and pepper, rewrap the husks around the cob, roll up the ear with wet parchment paper, then seal the ear with foil. I place them all on the upper level of my gas grill with temp around 300 to 325 degrees F. Close the grill and walk away. After about 20 minutes I return and turn the ears. Close the grill and walk away. About 15 minutes later, I open the grill, turn up the burners and grill the burgers, chops, dogs or whatever. My wife refuses to boil corn on the cob anymore, and won’t even roast the ears in the oven. I am The Corn King.
