This Easy English Muffin Garlic Bread is ready in just 12 minutes with only 4 simple ingredients. It’s the perfect budget-friendly alternative to store-bought garlic bread at a fraction of the cost! Crispy, cheesy, and garlicky, these English muffin garlic toasts are perfect alongside pasta, soups, or as a quick snack. No fancy equipment or skills needed, just split, top, and bake!

I first made this back in 2015, and it’s still a family favorite! I first found the idea on From Val’s Kitchen and we have been hooked ever since! I am a huge bread fan, but the price of garlic bread can add up fast, or the kids eat it too fast. Sometimes it’s not feasible to justify the cost of French bread or garlic bread at the bakery, or forget to pick it up.

how to make garlic bread with English muffins:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees before starting the prep work.

Now my favorite kitchen tip is parchment paper.  I discovered this track make Cake Mix Cookies, lay a piece of parchment paper down for easy cleanup.  No matter how careful I am always getting cheese on the pan and cleaning cheese up off a cookie sheet isn’t fun.

 Slice open your English Muffins and spread them out on your cookie sheet.

Spray your English Muffins with butter spray or spread melted butter onto the English Muffins. 

English Muffins Garlic Cheese Bread Ready To Bake

Top each half of the English muffins with 1/8 cup of Mozzarella Cheese. 

Sprinkle the tops with a bit of garlic salt. I like to use Lawry’s Garlic Salt with Parsley or Trader Joe Garlic Salt Grinder.

Bake for about 7-10 minutes for the desired melt of cheese and crisp of your English Muffins.
