Breakfast casseroles are one of my favorites to make when I need easy, comforting, and perfect for feeding a crowd. They are perfect for a holiday morning, a weekend brunch gathering, or just a cozy family breakfast. These casseroles with little prep but tons of flavor are the kind of dishes that let you skip the stress and enjoy more time with the people you love.

While many breakfast casseroles tend to be a little higher in calories, they can absolutely fit into a balanced lifestyle, especially during holidays or family brunches where the focus is on connection and celebration. Think of them as the perfect way to enjoy those extra calories intentionally: sharing warm, hearty meals around the table, filling the house with comforting smells, and creating memories. Whether you’re carving out time during a busy season or treating yourself after a long week, these casseroles offer that satisfying “once in a while” indulgence that nourishes both your body and your moments with family.
I personally prefer the more meat-based or egg-based options because they tend to be higher in protein than some of the sweet ones. But if you are enjoying a sweet casserole, it takes little effort to cook a side of eggs to go with, or a protein coffee to wash it down with.

- Turkey or chicken sausage
- Turkey bacon.
- Egg whites in place of eggs
