Let me share a little secret, I have an Instant Pot and it still scares me!! I had the chance to go n vacation with a girlfriend and her family with my kids. Even with that one on one teaching I still am nervous, it just seems to easy to burn something in it or spew dinner all over. I can’t be the only one feeling that way??? She recommended I find some easy Instant Pot Recipes for Beginners and go from there. I do plan to try out making Easy Instant Pot Pasta And Meatballs without her standing over me, look at the end of the post to see what happened when I tried Instant Pot Chicken Tacos without her, hint it didn’t end well for me. (I have included links to some great products that I have bought on my own and love. You can buy them as well through my online sales links).
I used to be one of those cooks would burn everything I would try to cook. Now I still use my crock pots every week, I am not sure that I could ever get away from using the crockpot. One downfall about the INstant pot to me is that you can’t smell the aroma while it’s cooking!! However, I do love how fast and easy it can cook up dinner so it’s time to put on my girl panties and try to make a recipe on my own. (Don’t forget to see my goof down below from last week when I tried to make the chicken without Jenn’s input)

Easy Instant Pot Recipes For Beginners
Now, this all seems easy enough right? You may remember that I watched my friend Jenn make the Instant Pot Chicken Tacos I shared a while ago. Well, I tried it at home and it was a bust!! As you can see below I burn them, now I have to give kudos to Instant Pot, the pot is so easy to clean! I just soaked it with a dryer sheet and then washed it. So even if you burn something don’t worry you can try again!!
What do you make in your Instant Pot?? Have you burnt food before in the Instant Pot?
