As I have gotten older, I’m getting pickier about my food, and I prefer to cook at home with ingredients I know and trust. While this meal may not be the healthiest on the scale, I would love to use a small business’s organic pasta made and sourced in the US.

What Is Sfoglini Pasta?
Sfoglini brand pasta combines the very best Italian techniques with American ingredients. It is made from organic whole grain, rye, einkorn, spelt flours, and emmer, all grown on North American farms and milled in the US. Plus, Sfoglini Pasta is organic and non-GMO. Its operations are based in New York. You can learn more about the company → here.

There will be three boxes of Sfoglini semolina pasta, three boxes of Sfoglini specialty pasta, and six recipe cards! There’s a 6 month membership option and a full-year option! See more → here.
Chicken Parmesan Soup Ingredients
Sfoglini Trumpets–you can use other noodles but these shapes are fun
Minced garlic– or crushed garlic cloves.
Crushed Tomatoes– You can use diced tomatoes; my kids prefer crushed tomatoes in recipes like this.
Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts– You could use chicken thighs, but it will make the dish more greasy.Â
Salt and Black Pepper
Heavy Whipping Cream– Also known as heavy cream

How To Make Crock Pot Chicken Parmesan Soup
Start by spraying your crock pot with a nonstick spray or lining it with a crockpot liner. The sauce will burn a bit to the side of the crockpot while cooking, making cleaning easier.
Crockpot Liners
Turn your crockpot on low heat; if you need it done sooner, you can cook at a higher heat.
Use a knife to trim off any excess fat from your chicken breasts with a knife.
Pour the chicken broth, tomato paste, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, crushed tomatoes, and seasonings in the crockpot.
Mix well with a spoon, spatula, or a whisk. I used a whisk to break up the tomato paste a bit.
Place your chicken breasts into the soup mixture inside the crockpot.

Cover with the crockpot lid and cook for 6-8 hours. If your crockpot cooks hot, reduce the time.
Half an hour before serving, remove the chicken breasts to a plate and shred. You can use a fork, which I did this time, or meat claws.

Add the shredded chicken back into the crockpot.

Mix the parmesan cheese, uncooked pasta, and heavy whipping cream, and stir it well.Mix the parmesan cheese, uncooked pasta, and heavy whipping cream, and stir it well.

Allow to cook for another 30 minutes!
Serve in a bowl and enjoy! I love to garnish mine with more parmesan cheese!

How To Store Leftover Crockpot Chicken Parmesan Soup
Allow the soup to cool completely in containers and store it. You can store this in the refrigerator for up to three days in an airtight container. My preferred storage method is an airtight container, but a Ziploc bag will work. Leftovers of this will not free well.
How To Reheat Leftover Chicken Parm Soup
You can reheat this in a microwave on high heat or a stovetop in a small pan. I have also used a travel crockpot to slow-reheat the soup.
