Air Fryer Chicken Tenders Recipe

These air fryer chicken tenders are crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. With less than 40 minutes to make, they are the perfect weeknight dinner. A quick garlic salt rub keeps them tender, and trust me, the ranch panko crust gives them that satisfying crunch you’d normally only get from deep frying. They’re a high protein dinner that the whole family will love, even picky eaters. Plus, this is a fun dinner to make alongside the kids.

Chicken tenderloins are one of my favorite proteins to keep stocked. I love that they cook faster than chicken breasts, but they also stay juicy in the air fryer. Trust me, the ranch and garlic combo on the chicken is delicious, even though it’s simple. These air fried tenderloins are perfect with dipping sauces, salads, or just as a snack.

How To Make Air Fryer Chicken Tenders:
Fill a bowl with water and garlic salt, enough to cover your chicken tenderloins.
Add your chicken tenderloins to the water and allow them to sit in the brine for about 15-30 minutes. (I allowed this to set while I got the other ingredients and the rest of dinner together.)
In a bowl, mix the panko, ranch seasoning, and garlic powder.
Mix the dry ingredients well with a fork until thoroughly blended.
In another bowl, crack your eggs and whisk them for the egg wash.

Spray your Air Fryer racks with non-stick spray.
Drag a tenderloin through the egg wash and then coat it in your breadcrumb mixture.

Next, spread the breaded chicken tenderloin on your Air Fryer rack.

Repeat the process until all your chicken tenderloins are coated.
Place your racks in your Air Fryer and close it up.

Turn your Air Fryer to 375 degrees and set the time to 30 minutes, I ended up cooking mine for 35 minutes.

Serve and enjoy!!

A Note From Jenny
When starting any healthy lifestyle, consult a doctor to address any personal health concerns. Some things can only be addressed medically and by a professional. Blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before starting and at least once a year, as these all can affect an active lifestyle.
With so many different programs, such as Weight Watchers, Keto, and macros, it can be hard to know what to pick. (If you’re interested in Weight Watchers, you can sign up -> here and sign up for $10/month for 10 months.)
I personally use the app Myfitnesspal to track my food. I use macros and focus on High Protein (calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates) and rotate through cuts and maintenance calories. (Use a calculator like this -> here) . I did WW for years, but now that I am more maintenance, with cuts throughout the year, and focusing on mobility with strength training. There is no right or wrong answer, as all bodies are different.
