Would you believe me if I told you this Zero Point Weight Watchers Chicken Breast Air Fryer is going to be a favorite to have in your Weight Watchers go-to collection? With our busy lives, finding easy and delicious foods helps how successful you are on the Weight Watchers plan. And if you are not on WW, don’t worry; this recipe is fantastic in all other ways for weeknight dinners.

Chicken is one of those main dish proteins that even the pickiest kids will eat this chicken as well. I love how little prep there is and that it can pair with anything or work for meal prep for the week. Plus, it’s nice to throw dinner in the air fryer on busy weeknights and not worry about it.

I personally use the app Myfitnesspal to track my food. I use macros and focus on High Protein (calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates) and rotate through cuts and maintenance calories. (Use a calculator like this -> here) . I did WW for years, but now that I am more maintenance, with cuts throughout the year, and focusing on mobility with strength training. There is no right or wrong answer, as all bodies are different.
Air Fryer Chicken Breasts Ingredients
- Chicken Breasts– I used boneless skinless chicken breasts, but you can use bone-in chicken breasts. *If on WW Points will change if you use
- Chicken Seasonings– I used my go-to blend of Garlic Salt, Montreal Steak Seasoning, and Johnny’s Seasoning salt. There isn’t a wrong seasoning to use on chicken; Lemon Pepper is also good.

Why Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Air Fryer?
On the Weight Watchers plan, boneless, skinless chicken breasts are zero points. If you add oil or seasoning with points, there will be points. Chicken breasts on the bone will have points, so consult your Weight Watchers app for the points on that.
I find that these turn out juicy every time. You can do this with any chicken cut; just be sure if you are doing Weight Watchers, you calculate the points. Or if calorie counting, you track it accordingly.
Chicken breasts, in general, are a great lean protein. This works great for a low-calorie diet, keto, Dash Diet, Mediterranean diet, paleo diet aka caveman diet, and if you are cutting for body-building or strength training.
How To Make Air-Fried Chicken Breast
Make this recipe using thawed or fresh boneless skinless chicken breast; you can trim off the fat. This can also be done after cooking if you would prefer; I did mine after this time.

Spray the air fryer basket or racks with a nonstick spray.
Lay the Chicken Breasts in the basket or the rack; you will want space around each for the air to cook it properly. The larger round-up of the chicken breast will be on the top, with the flatter side on the bottom in contact with the air fryer basket.
Sprinkles with your chicken seasonings before or while the chicken is in the basket or on the racks.
Turn your air fryer to the chicken setting or 400 degrees, and insert the temperature probe into the largest chicken breast if you have one.

Allow the chicken breasts to cook on the chicken setting or for 10 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Just like ovens, air fryers can differ in how they cook by brand.

Chicken is fully cooked at 165 degrees for the internal temperature. If your air fryer doesn’t have an internal probe, use a meat thermometer to verify you cooked to the correct internal temp.

How To Store Air Fryer Chicken Breast
Allow to cool down and store in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to three to five days after making. You can shred this to use in other recipes if you would like as well.
Storing leftovers properly requires the right tools! My preferred storage method is if the leftovers can be sealed in a food saver. If not, then an air-tight container or Ziploc bag for the fridge is the way I go. The airtight container or a freezer Ziploc bag are the next best bet for freezing the leftovers. I also use a food scale to measure portions into serving sizes.
Other Ways To Prepare Air Fryer Chicken Breast Weight Watchers
Breading– This will add either calories or points to the chicken and make it not keto. When pairing the chicken with a zero or low point side this still works out to a low point entree.
Oil– Adding oil before seasoning will work well, but oil will add calories or WW points to the dish.

Unique Ways To Use WW Air Fryer Chicken Breast
Salads– Cube up the Air Fryer chicken breasts for salad toppings, from a chef salad to a Caesar salad!
Casseroles– I love to use shredded chicken in my Stove Top Stuffing Casserole, which is also WW-friendly, but this goes into so many other casseroles
Snacks– Pairing shredded air fryer chicken breasts with cheese or yogurt makes for a tremendous low-point snack.
Soups- Use shredded air fryer chicken breast in zero-point soups like Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup or Crockpot Chicken Fajita Soup for easy prep and cooking.
Chili- This zero-point chicken is added to chicken chili for a zero-point comfort food.

What To Serve With High-Protein Air Fryer Chicken
There is no wrong choice of a side dish! You can pair it with a low or high-point side dish; the sky is the limit!

This chicken turned out perfectly cooked in the air fryer! I used thawed chicken breasts. We served it with the baked acorn squash and it was a really nice meal.

I used a homemade poultry seasoning that my SIL makes and gives as little gifts.
And the chicken turned out so delicious. It was still moist but had a nice flavor.
