Weight Watchers Muffins are one of those treats my whole family has come to love over the years! I love that on Weigth Watchers the kids can eat what I eat too. Be sure as with all recipes be sure to recalculate your points as values will vary with different brands.

Now for years, we have made muffins using cake mix, water, and yogurt however recently a girlfriend clued me into using Kodiak Cakes mixes as the base to make muffins. If you are like my youngest Isabella, these muffins seem more like baking than the cake mixes muffins. But either way, they can be made into low-smart point tasty muffins.

WHAT IS Weight Watchers?

When starting a new weight loss program or diet change, consult a doctor or physician about personal health concerns. It is a good idea to have blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before and during being on the WW program.

New to Weight Watchers?? Also known as WW, a weight loss program uses points assigned to food to track and lose weight. When you sign up, you take an assessment that will assign you a point value to eat daily and a weekly allowance. You can carry over 4 points from the day into your weekly allowance, which is handy when you need more points.

I have been on Weight Watchers since 2011. They have had Points Plus Value, WW Smartpoints, blue plan, green plan, purple plan, WW Personal Points, and now Weight Watchers Points. The new Weight Watchers Simplified plan is the new program launched in November 2022 similar to previous plans like WW Smartpoints, with some color plans.

No matter the WW plan, they work to help you learn healthy eating habits. I have hit lifetime goal weight several times but stopped operating the plan and tracking, so the weight does creep back on. You stay on as a lifetime member, working towards your goal. Head on over ->here to get a month for free.

Ways to Lower Points in Muffins

For the cake mix muffins, swap out with a sugar-free mix, while you can use a regular cake mix. Using a sugar-free mix will lower the overall Smartpoint value per muffin.

Use nonfat Greek yogurt to mix with the cake mix and the water to make the cake mix muffin; while this won’t lower the points a lot it will be a lower smart point option.

Weight Watchers Lemon Muffins

Weight Watchers Lemon Muffins was one of the first low-point muffins I ever made while on WW; this is the perfect light and spring treat to make. The lemon flavor will pop even more if you find a lemon Greek yogurt in the recipe. Get the recipe ->here.

Weight Watchers Strawberry Muffins

Weight Watchers Strawberry Muffins are another one of my favorite light spring versions of Weight Watcher muffins. You can use either vanilla yogurt which will tone down the strawberry flavor or pair it up with a strawberry Greek yogurt to really bring out the strawberry flavor. Get the recipe ->here.

Weight Watchers Chocolate Muffins

Weight Watchers Chocolate Muffins are my ultimate sweet tooth-curing treat to make! There are just times when chocolate is what you want, and these muffins will satisfy the sweet tooth cravings. Get the recipe ->here.

This easy 3 Ingredient Chocolate Weight Watchers Muffins Recipe is a perfect small treat! Satisfy your chocolate craving with a low Smartpoint muffin.

Weight Watchers Red Velvet Muffins

Weight Watchers Red Velvet Muffins are what my kids called fancy muffins. These were easy to make and turn out a pretty color using the red velvet cake mix paired with vanilla yogurt. Get the recipe ->here.

Weight Watchers Pumpkin Muffins

When we make the Weight Watchers Pumpkin Muffins it is a sure sign that fall is here. These go perfectly with a Pumpkin Spice Latte and are full of a fall flavor favorite! Get the recipe ->here.
