Weight Watchers Muffins are one of those treats my whole family has come to love over the years! I love that on WW the kids can eat what I eat too. Being able to make a variety of flavors of muffins and to make them fast is a must in my house!

4 Muffins, Sprinkle Kodiak Muffin, Pumpkin Spice muffin, lemon muffin, and kodiak chocolate muffin

For years, we have made muffins using cake mix, water, and greek yogurt however, recently, a girlfriend clued me into using Kodiak Cakes mixes as the base to make muffins. If you are like my youngest, Isabella, these muffins seem more like baking than the cake mixes muffins. But either way, they can be made into low-smart point tasty muffins.

WHAT IS Weight Watchers?

When starting a new weight loss program or diet change, consult a doctor or physician about personal health concerns. It is a good idea to have blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before and during being on the WW program.

New to Weight Watchers?? Also known as WW, a weight loss program uses points assigned to food to track and lose weight. When you sign up, you take an assessment that will assign you a point value to eat daily and a weekly allowance. You can carry over 4 points from the day into your weekly budget, which is handy when you need more points.

I have been on Weight Watchers since 2011. They have had Points Plus Value, WW Smartpoints, Blue Plan, Green Plan, Purple Plan, WW Personal Points, and now Weight Watchers Points. The new Weight Watchers Simplified plan is the new program launched in November 2022, similar to previous plans like WW Smartpoints, with some color plans. ( You can see the Weight Watchers Zero Point Foods 2023 -> here)

No matter the WW plan, they work to help you learn healthy eating habits. I have hit lifetime goal weight several times but stopped operating the plan and tracking, so the weight does creep back on.

Right now, you can head on over -> here and sign up for WW for $10 a month for your first six months.

Ways to Lower Points in Muffins

For the cake mix muffins, swap out with a sugar-free mix, while you can use a regular cake mix. Using a sugar-free mix will lower the overall WW point value per muffin.

Use nonfat Greek yogurt to mix with the cake mix and the water to make the muffin; while this won’t lower the points, it will be a lower-weight watcher point option.

Weight Watchers Lemon Muffins

Weight Watchers Lemon Muffins was one of the first low-point muffins I ever made while on WW; this is the perfect light and spring treat to make. The lemon flavor will pop even more if you find a lemon Greek yogurt in the recipe. Get the recipe ->here.

Weight Watchers Strawberry Muffins

Weight Watchers Strawberry Muffins are another one of my favorite light spring versions of Weight Watcher muffins. You can use either vanilla yogurt, which will tone down the strawberry flavor, or pair it up with strawberry Greek yogurt to bring out the flavor. Get the recipe ->here.
