Weight Watchers Muffins are one of those treats that my whole family has come to love over the years! For the My WW Blue, My WW Purple, and My WW Green plan most of the muffins will work out to be the same number of points, but with all recipes be sure to recalculate your points as values will vary with different brands. Now for years, we have made muffins using cake mix, water, and yogurt however recently a girlfriend clued me into using Kodiak Cakes mixes as the base to make muffins. If you are like my youngest Isabella these muffins seem more like baking, than the cake mixes muffins. But either way, they can be made into low-smartpoint tasty muffins.

My WW Green Plan
This plan has over 100 foods that you can consume that will not count as points in your daily allowance. Most fresh fruit and non-starchy vegetables will be Zeropoint foods. Certain protein-packed foods will be lower in points when they are a low-fat option. Eggs and chicken breasts are great ways to get in protein on this plan. Pair them up with zero-point vegetables or lower-point foods for a meal. You will be given the most daily points on this plan, but less zero point foods compared to other plans.
My WW Blue Plan
Like the green plan Fruits and nonstarchy vegetables are zero points. But unlike green chicken breast, turkey breast, eggs, beans, and other foods are zero points as well. This makes over 200 foods Zero Points on this plan. While they are zero points being mindful of serving sizes still plays a role in this plan. You will be given fewer daily points than the green plan due to more zero point foods, but more points than the purple plan.
My WW Purple Plan
This plan is the most flexible plan offered by Weight Watchers. Over 300 Zero point foods are in this plan include whole-grain pasta and potatoes! Now with all the zero point foods, you will be given fewer daily points. While on this plan while there are more zero point foods you will need to watch servings of the pasta and potatoes. This plays a bigger role as you get closer to your WW lifetime goal.

Way to Lower Points in WW Muffins
For the cake mix muffins swap out with a sugar-free mix, while you can use a regular cake mix using a sugar-free mix will lower the overall Smartpoint value per muffin.
Use nonfat Greek yogurt to mix with the cake mix and the water to make the cake mix muffin, while this won’t lower the points a lot it will be a lower smart point option.
