This Cheesy Biscuit Pizza Rolls Recipe is one that my family has been making for 6 years now!! We don’t make it often, because they are so full of not of calories and are not the best for us. However, for tailgating, it is a great option to ordering in pizza as food and the kids have a blast making these as well!

Now we don’t eat pizza all that often anymore, however during football season we tend to have it to eat while we watch football games. With three kids in my house, we can go through a lot of pizza so I love that these pizza rolls can be made in small batches, meaning no leftovers! Plus I can customize them to each picky kid’s taste buds and preferences! Now I stumbled upon this on Pinterest from a pin from The Gunny Sack!
Cheesy Biscuit Pizza Rolls Ingredients:
- Pillsbury Grands Biscuits-The Grands biscuits work best as there is more dough to wrap around the pizza ingredients.
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Pizza Sauce
- Canadian Bacon– This was my family’s personal preference you can use crumbled sausage or pepperoni even. Vegetables also make a good stuffing as well.
- Non-stick Spray
- Egg
- Italian Seasoning

Now Isabella has been making with me since she was three. As you can see flattening dough is a favorite of hers to do. I love being able to find recipes that my kids in the kitchen with me and watching their cooking skills grow as they get older.
How TO Make Cheesy Biscuit Pizza Rolls:
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
Spray your pan with a non-stick spray.
Cut up your cheese and meats to fit on the biscuits. This is good practice for the kids to learn how to use knives and take baby steps to learn them.
Spray your 9X13 pan with a nonstick spray.
Next, flatten out the biscuit and assemble your toppings. We did a couple with Canadian Bacon cut into quarters and cheese.

Roll the biscuit dough all the way around the contents to seal it up.

Layout these dough balls into your 9X13 pan, I put the seal line facing down in the pan.

*Note we did these once with sauce in them and it blew out of the pizza rolls making a huge mess, plus they didn’t roll up as nicely either.*
When you have all the biscuits rolled up, beat the egg in a bowl.
Using a pastry brush, brush all the pizza rolls with the egg.
Sprinkle with Italian seasoning on top.

Bake in the oven at 425 for 17-20 minutes!!

We serve ours with dishes of pizza sauce to dip in!

And Isabella loved how cheesy they turned out as well!

What tailgating dishes do you make for your family? What pizza dishes do you make?

I used butter speckled Grands Biscuits my store was out of the regular ones when I went shopping. The yellow spots are their butter flakes.
