This Red Velvet Weight Watchers Muffins Recipe is the perfect way to stay on track and have your cake too while on Weight Watchers aka WW plan! Now while they are smaller muffins I love to make them when the kids have friends over or we have a get-together. Personally, I am on the My WW Blue Plan, but they will work with the My WW Green Plan and My WW Purple plan, but the points are the same on all three plans. These Red Velvet Weight Watchers Muffins are the perfect little sweet treat!! My son is a Red Velvet cake fanatic however I prefer for there to not be all the calories of regular cake. Well, I fell in love with making -> Lemon Weight Watchers Muffins I found in a Weight Watcher Facebook group so we decided to switch it up and try it with a Red Velvet mix.
I love how simple and quick these muffins are to whip up. These WW muffins are always Isabella’s favorite to make, she has always done most of the work and now pretty much makes them her self. They are that easy to make! Be sure to follow me on -> Pinterest for more great recipes as well!! We have been making these muffins since 2015 and they are always a hit.

Red Velvet Weight Watchers Muffins Ingredients:
- 1 Chocolate Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 1 100 Calorie Greek Vanilla Yogurt
- Cup of water
Red Velvet Weight Watchers Muffins Directions:
Be sure to preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Start by whisking together your yogurt and water in a bowl.
Next, slowly mix in the dry cake mix, you will not use any other ingredients on the cake mix box.
Take a paper towel and get it wet with vegetable oil.
Rub-down the Muffin Pan with the greased paper towel so your muffins will easily pop out of the pan.
I always use a cookie scoop to fill the baking cups half full, these do grow fairly large. Personally I also love to use my oven gloves for these pans, the silicone muffin pans are so much easier to grab out of the oven with these gloves. Paired with the silicone mini-muffin pan you have the best baking combination!

Bake for about 15-22 minutes depending on your oven, I use a toothpick to check the doneness of the muffin.
Serve and enjoy!!
Be sure to recalculate your cake mix and how many muffins you were able to get out of the batter in your recipe builder on the WW site. (Not a member yet? You can join here and get a free month, sometimes they change the promotions so be sure to look). I was able to make 35 mini muffins. I think it would make 13-14 regular muffins. Now do be sure to replug your brand of ingredients and servings as different brands have different WW Smartpoints Value and if you make a different number of muffins it will change the point value. With the MY WW program the values on Blue plan, green plan, and purple plan will be the same.

Hi! Do we just substitute the Lemon Cake Mix with the Red Velvet Cake mix, using the other ingredients as well? I don’t see the directions for the Red Velvet.
