I am not the biggest fan of cream cheese, but with the sales this time of year, I have been picking up a lot. I have been pairing the sale price with Ibotta rebates to save more. I have to say this recipe has me finding new ways to cook with cream cheese.
Cream Cheese Chicken Crock Pot Ingredients:
- Cream Cheese– You can allow this to soften to room temperature and even cut up into smaller cubes to put in the crockpot.
- Italian dressing seasoning
- Chicken Breast– I use boneless skinless chicken breasts. Other cuts of boneless meat will work, but dark meat will be greaser.
- Cream of Chicken

How To Store crockpot chicken with cream cheese
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days after making the dinner. You can freeze for up to 30 days, but the cream cheese sauce may look different when thawed out and reheated.
Storing leftovers properly requires the right tools! My preferred storage method is if the leftovers can be sealed in a food saver. If not, then an air-tight container or Ziploc bag for the fridge is the way I go. The air-tight container and a freezer Ziploc bag are the next best bet for freezing the leftovers. I also use a food scale to measure portions into serving sizes.
