I love a good broccoli slaw salad! Now, with being on Weight Watchers, I am always looking for skinny recipes of my favorites! I love that this recipe works out to be healthy but also has protein in it as well.

Typically, I think of salads like this in the summer months. But honestly, I love bringing this to holiday potlucks and my 4 Ingredient Skinny Coleslaw. Both help me know something with protein that will be there that I love to eat at gatherings!

A Note From Jenny

When starting any healthy lifestyle, consult a doctor to address any personal health concerns. Some things can only be addressed medically and by a professional. Blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before starting and at least once a year, as these all can affect an active lifestyle.

With so many different programs, such as Weight Watchers, Keto, and macros, it can be hard to know what to pick. (If you’re interested in Weight Watchers, you can sign up -> here and sign up for $10/month for 10 months.)

I personally use the app Myfitnesspal to track my food.  I use macros and focus on High Protein (calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates) and rotate through cuts and maintenance calories. (Use a calculator like this -> here)  . I did WW for years, but now that I am more maintenance, with cuts throughout the year, and focusing on mobility with strength training. There is no right or wrong answer, as all bodies are different.

Fat Free Greek yogurt, apple cider vinegar, honey, broccoli slaw, and red onion laid out

Weight Watchers Broccoli Slaw Salad Ingredients

Broccoli Slaw Kit– Mine was 12 ounces from Taylor Farms and had shredded carrots and cabbage.

Red Onion– You will dice this up to be mixed in; if you prefer, yellow or white onion can be used.

Weight Watchers Broccoli Salad Dressing Ingredients

Greek Yogurt– This will be the substitute for mayo in coleslaw. You will use zero-fat Greek yogurt, but the bonus is that it will also have protein.

Apple Cider Vinegar-You can use white vinegar or other vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar; I wanted the taste of the apple cider paired up with the coleslaw.

Honey-You can use store-bought honey or local honey. My honey came from a friend on the Olympic Peninsula. Also, white granulated sugar can be used in substitution of honey.

**Agave syrup could also be used in place of the honey if you want to lower the points but it may affect the taste of the coleslaw.**
