I found this Weight Watchers Cuban Pork Chops on a meeting handout in 2013, and it is still a family favorite all these years later! Pork chops are one of my favorite lean proteins, and they also give me a break from chicken.

These Weight Watchers Pork Chops are also on WW website -> here. I did mine a bit differently, doubled the marinade in the bag, and also added another seasoning. as well. I must say it’s one of those few dishes I first worried the kids wouldn’t eat, but they loved it and even had seconds!!
A Note From Jenny
When starting any healthy lifestyle, consult a doctor to address any personal health concerns. Some things can only be addressed medically and by a professional. Blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before starting and at least once a year, as these all can affect an active lifestyle.
With so many different programs, such as Weight Watchers, Keto, and macros, it can be hard to know what to pick. (If you’re interested in Weight Watchers, you can sign up -> here and sign up for $10/month for 10 months.)
I personally use the app Myfitnesspal to track my food. I use macros and focus on High Protein (calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates) and rotate through cuts and maintenance calories. (Use a calculator like this -> here) . I did WW for years, but now that I am more maintenance, with cuts throughout the year, and focusing on mobility with strength training. There is no right or wrong answer, as all bodies are different.

How To Make Weight Watchers Cuban Pork Chops:
Start out by chopping up your onion and cilantro, the amount of these can be adjusted to your family’s taste preference.
Now a good knife is a must-have in any kitchen! I picked up this Aicok Knife (HERE) for under $10, but it often sells out on Amazon because it’s so awesome. There are a lot of other top-rated knives on Amazon at a great prices. I am not the best at picking out Knives, so when I can read reviews to find a good quality knife, it’s a win for me!
In a bowl, combine the topping ingredients and allow it to rest for about 30 minutes.
In a Gallon Ziploc Bag, throw in all your marinade ingredients without the pork chops. (I placed mine in the fridge while the meat was marinating)

Either shake or squish the bag to mix the marinade ingredients before putting the pork chops in the bag.
Allow the pork to marinate for however long you want. Mine was about 45 minutes, but you could do an overnight marinate.
Either oil or grease your pan or grill to warm up before cooking your pork chops.

Allow the pork chops to cook and flip them to ensure they cook properly. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they are at least 145 degrees.
Plate and place marinated onions on the pork chops for more flavor.
Serve with potatoes or a salad.

Wow, Jenny, this sounds great. I just started back on Weight Watchers and will definitely try this recipe. Pinned!
Also being on Weight Watchers, am I missing the Nutritional Information or any WW Points?
I only count the points for the weight of the pork after it’s cooked so it will vary based on the size of your pork chops.
What is Cabelas? tried looking it up, asked Alexia and Google said it was a hunting and fishing store?
It is a hunting and fishing store. You can order their spices on their site or sometimes you can find them on Amazon. I go there just for the tequila lime seasoning it’s amazing!
Good recipe, learn a lot today. Thanks for posting.
This looks wonderful! I’m on my first week of weight watchers and love it so far. Plan to make this tonight, can you tell me temp and time to bake in oven please?
I have only ever grilled them I am sorry! I would start them at 350 degrees and keep an eye on how they cook. Let me know how they turn out.
This sounds delicious! I have pinned it to refer back to!
