Skinny Pumpkin Spice Latte

It’s time, and it seems to creep up every year for it to start earlier… It’s time for everything, Pumpkin Spice! This Skinny Pumpkin Spice Latte is one of my favorites for replacing my Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, which is at least 13 points depending on your milk and size, whereas this version is only 3 Weight Watchers points.

Now, I have always said my favorite part of Weight Watchers is that I can still have the things I love, but there are some things that I love a lower point version. Using Premier protein shakes to make my lattes has been a game-changer. And let’s face it, there is a lot of sugar in Starbucks that our bodies don’t need. There are days I struggle to get my protein in, so adding the extra 30 grams of protein with my coffee is fantastic.
A Note From Jenny
When starting any healthy lifestyle, consult a doctor to address any personal health concerns. Some things can only be addressed medically and by a professional. Blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before starting and at least once a year, as these all can affect an active lifestyle.
With so many different programs, such as Weight Watchers, Keto, and macros, it can be hard to know what to pick. (If you’re interested in Weight Watchers, you can sign up -> here and sign up for $10/month for 10 months.)
I personally use the app Myfitnesspal to track my food. I use macros and focus on High Protein (calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates) and rotate through cuts and maintenance calories. (Use a calculator like this -> here) . I did WW for years, but now that I am more maintenance, with cuts throughout the year, and focusing on mobility with strength training. There is no right or wrong answer, as all bodies are different.
Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte Ingredients
- Premier Protein Salted Caramel– You can use another brand of protein shakes. These on the current plan are 3 WW Points; the Pure Protein salted Caramel shakes are only one point if you can find them.
- Canned Pumpkin Puree– You could use fresh, pureed pumpkin, but it would need to be pureed. I find canned convenient to use.
- Coffee– You can also do espresso shots, Cold Brew, or decaf coffee, which will also work in this drink if you do not want the caffeine. (You have no idea how excited I was to find you could buy espresso shots online!)
- Fat-Free Whipped Topping– The whipped topping can affect the calorie and Weight Watchers points to your mocha drink, so double-check the nutritional information.
- Stevia Packets
- Nutmeg
- Pumpkin Pie Seasoning

How To Make WW Pumpkin Spice Latte
Start by making your coffee however you choose. I used a Keriug to brew mine, but you could do an espresso shot or coffee from a regular coffee pot.

In your cup, add your pumpkin and some of the seasonings. You can add in the spices later. I was waiting for my coffee to brew.

Brew your coffee and pour it into the cup that has the pumpkin puree in the bottom. I used a clear Venti Starbucks cup.
Mix the coffee, seasonings, and pumpkin with a frother or a whisk. I realized after making this that a frother would make this much faster and smoother, so I had to order one. (one of those moments that took years to come to realize)

Once the coffee and pumpkin are mixed, pour in your Caramel protein shake.
Mix the coffee and pumpkin with the protein shake using a frother or a whisk to remix everything.

If you want, top with whipped topping and sprinkle with pumpkin pie seasoning. Make sure you scan your Whipped Topping to know how many points the brand is.
Enjoy

How To Serve Weight Watchers Pumpkin Spice Latte
Serve over ice to make an iced latte; add ice to the current cup or pour it into a new cup to make it pretty. Makes it a delicious Weight Watchers iced coffee recipe!
Throw in the blender with ice to serve more as a Frappicuno; add nonfat Greek yogurt to thicken it up and add more protein.
What Is A Proffee?
A proffee is coffee with a protein shake in place of creamer! You can use already flavored protein shakes like Salted Caramel, Chocolate, Peanut butter Chocolate, or Mocha. Adding sugar-free syrups is a great way to change the flavors of the coffee. Skinny Girl Drink syrups are one of my favorites to add to my proffees.

Now I love to use the Pure Protein Ready to Drink shakes as they are only 1 Weight Watchers point, and Premier Protein Ready to Drink shakes are 3 WW Points. But in addition to low Weight Watchers points, these drinks are also keto!
Options For Profee Pumpkin Spice Latte
- Whipped topping– My whipped topping was three tablespoons for zero Weight Watchers points. Use your app to figure out what your best amount is.
- Substitute with a vanilla protein shake or pumpkin pie shake instead of a caramel shake.
- Top with crumbled graham crackers *If you use a lot, this will add points, but I use a minimal amount, so I skip tracking it.*
Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte Weight Watchers Points
According to the Weight Watchers app and Weight Watchers recipe points calculator, the lowest opinion for a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is 13 points, which go up with different sizes or kinds of milk.

Tis the season for all things pumpkin spice! Yum! This latte turned out great and I loved the points breakdown you gave. Super useful!
Delicious pumpkin spice latte in a lower points version – major score!!!! I’ll be making this one on repeat!
This was super delicious and filling. Lucky I had that protein shake on hand when I stumbled upon this recipe. Thank you.
I am SO excited for fall and all things pumpkin!
So to be able to make pumpkin spiced latte at home and also without busting the weight loss is nothing short of MAGICAL!
I also love that it has protein powder in it, as it filled me up from mid-morning to a late lunch. YEAH 🙂
I love this lighter version of my Starbucks PSL. Now I can enjoy it all season long without guilt.
This sounds great! Thank you for linking up with Tell It To Me Tuesday! I hope to see you back again this week.
I was so happy when I found this recipe worked and I actually really liked the latte. I didn’t think it was this easy to make the pumpkin latte. I can see me treating myself with this drink at home every so often.
I love pumpkin spice latte but I hate the excessive calories. Your version tasted so good while also being healthy. Loved it.
I’m all about the PSL! Couldn’t believe how close this lighter latte was to the real sweet treat.
Now that I live overseas where there are no PSL vendors this has been a saviour! I can’t believe how easy it was to make and now I can enjoy my fall time favourite drink any time guilt-free.
I bet this recipe is so handy for those pumpkin spice latte drinkers!
I seriously cant even handle all those Starbucks PSL drinks at my age (44) So much sugar! I make my own skinny PSL drinks and they are SO MUCH better than all the sugary ones. I like it when my coffee still tastes like coffee! (With a touch of autumn!) Visiting from the blog hop. Have a great week.
