I am not the only one in our house that loves to bake! Isabella has always been pink-obsessed, and a couple of years ago, we decided to change our Lemon Weight Watcher muffins (see them-> here). We made our Strawberry Weight Watchers Muffins in honor of Valentine’s day coming up in a heart pan!!!

The ingredients for Weight Watchers Strawberry Muffins Recipe are simple and easy to whip up. These can also be made into bigger muffins, but our favorite is mini muffins!

WHAT IS Weight Watchers?
When starting any new weight loss program or diet changes be sure to consult with a doctor or physician about any personal health concerns. It is a good idea to have blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before and during being on the WW program.
New to Weight Watchers?? Also known as WW, a weight loss program uses points assigned to food to track and lose weight. When you sign up, you take an assessment that will assign you a point value to eat daily and a weekly allowance. You can carry over 4 points from the day into your weekly allowance, which is handy when you need more points.
I have been on Weight Watchers since 2011. They have had Points Plus Value, WW Smartpoints, blue plan, green plan, purple plan, WW Personal Points, and now Weight Watchers Points. The new Weight Watchers Simplified plan is the new program launched in November 2022 is similar to previous plans like WW Smartpoints, with some color plans.
No matter the WW plan, they work to help you learn healthy eating habits. I have hit lifetime goal weight a couple of times but stopped operating the plan and tracking, so the weight does creep back on. You do stay on as a lifetime member, just working towards goal. Strawberry Weight Watchers Muffins Recipe Ingredients:
- Strawberry Cake Mix– I used a Betty Crocker Strawberry mix to make this. You could swap out with a white as long as it is made with Strawberry greek yogurt.
- Nonfat Strawberry Greek Yogurt– Using nonfat greek yogurt will lower the Weight Watchers and calories of the muffins.
- Cup of water
**Note you will not use any of the cake mix extras listed no oil or eggs, just these three ingredients**

How To Make Weight Watchers Strawberry Muffins:
Turn your on oven to preheat to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl mix together your yogurt and water together. I do this first to make sure they are combined completley.
Next, slowly add the dry cake mix into the water and yogurt mixture into the bowl.
Take a paper towel and wet it with vegetable oil and rub your silicone muffin Pan with the paper towel. This will grease the pan so that your muffins will pop on out easily once they are baked.
I use a cookie scoop to fill the baking cups about half full. These muffins do raise quite a bit. (This is a picture from the pumpkin ones)

Bake for about 15-22 minutes, depending on your oven. I use a toothpick to check the doneness of the muffins.
Serve and enjoy!!

Weight Watchers Strawbery Muffins Points Breakdown
Be sure to recalculate your cake mix and how many muffins you could get out of the batter in your recipe builder on the WW site. Different brands have different Weight Watchers points.
The amount of muffins you bake will change the point value. (Not a member yet? You can join here and get a free month, sometimes they change the promotions, so be sure to look). I was able to make 35 mini muffins. I think it would make 13-14 regular muffins.

I used Betty Crocker delights super moist strawberry cake mix and a light 90 calorie yogurt will this change anything?
Jenny says
That sounds like the mixes I used, I would just plug everything into E-tools to make sure you get the right points
Kayla says
It says it on the recipe …
Sharilyn says
I love these, but I will not be making them any longer. After putting the ingredients through the WW Recipe Builder I learned they were 7SP each, not 2.
Jenny says
Did you use the mini muffin? The points will vary based off of how many muffins your batch makes
Lc says
Should they stay in fridge?
Jenny says
I keep them in a container on the counter. You could keep them in the fridge.
Mary says
Why not just use a cake mix of your choice with a diet soda instead of yogurt and water? Cuts down points if you use a sugar free cake mix.
rachel says
could you use this in a cake form, instead of muffins ?
Jenny says
Yes you can! Just replug the points and the number of servings
Diana says
First, these are amazing! It was my first Weight Watchers recipe. Taste just like my favorite thing at Eat ‘n Park.
Second, because of your link to a free month of Weight Watchers I decided to try it. I am a very picky eater and have IBS so all diets have been too hard for me until now. I have been able to eat more things on this diet and I’ve lost 6 pounds in only a few days. I can’t wait to lose more.
Jessica says
Do you store leftovers in fridge or counter ?
Jenny says
I store mine on the counter in a large Rubbermaid container.
LL says
These are delicious but NOT 1 OR 2 SP like you say they are ….they are 7 according to the WW app.
Jenny says
It depends on how many muffins you get. If you use the bigger muffin pans they are more points.
Tanya says
I just put the recipe in recipe maker and it says they are 0 points in the WW app.
Jenny says
Make sure you increase the number of servings on the cake mix to account for the full box before dividing out how many muffins you get.
Pamela W Carman says
I put my ingredients in and the result was 1 sm per muffin
Melissa A Delfino says
Can you do a cake out of this instead of muffins? Would it change anything?
Jenny says
It would change the point value for servings. So be sure to plug it into the recipe builder with the serving amounts you cut the cake into.
Melissa A Delfino says
But wouldn’t change the recipe if I did bundt cake? Other than points?
Amanda Thomas says
I have 2 different single servings of yogurt. One is 6oz and the other is 4oz. Which one should I use?

TONI Guillen says

Jenny says
I am pretty sure you can. I personally haven’t though.
Denise A Lovero says
How long do you bake larger muffins for?
Jenny says
I would check them at 18 minutes to see how done they are by using a toothpick. I haven’t made them in a larger size in a couple of years to remember the time off the top of my head
