Creamy Ranch Chicken Skillet Ingredients:
- Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts– You could use thighs, but the mixture will be greaser from the fat of the chicken. And bone-in chicken, but you must pick off the meat from the bone and be careful of bones falling into the mixture.
- Cream of Chicken Soup– I have also made this with cream of potato before. You can use cream of mushroom, but that is not one my family likes.
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Milk
- Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning– You can use packets or dry ranch seasoning from a container to make this. I have a container of dry ranch seasoning because of how much we use.
How To Make Creamy Ranch Chicken Skillet Dinner:
Warm your oil in a frypan/skillet on low to medium heat, be sure this pan has a cover.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste.

Once the oil in the pan is warm, start to brown your chicken.
You will do this on both sides of the breasts, this takes about ten to fifteen minutes but the chicken won’t be thoroughly cooked.
Remove your chicken from the pan to a plate when it has browned on both sides.

In the warm pan, combine the milk, ranch packet, and cream of chicken and mix it up. ( I used a Silicone Whisk to mix mine and not scratch the pan)
Bring the mixture to a boil so it can thicken up in the pan; if the mixture gets to be too thick, you can add in more milk to thin it out.
Put your browned chicken breasts back into the pan, reduce the heat to low, and cover the pan with the lid.
Allow the pan to simmer for about ten minutes to finish cooking the chicken thoroughly. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken has cooked to 165 degrees.
Then serve with rice or no yolk noodles!!

HOW TO STORE LEFTOVER RANCH CHICKEN
Store in the fridge in an airtight container for three days.
I have not frozen this before, but If you are to freeze it, make sure there is plenty of sauce with the chicken in the air-tight container, which is thawed before reheating.
