A Note From Jenny
When starting any healthy lifestyle, consult a doctor to address any personal health concerns. Some things can only be addressed medically and by a professional. Blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before starting and at least once a year, as these all can affect an active lifestyle.
With so many different programs, such as Weight Watchers, Keto, and macros, it can be hard to know what to pick. (If you’re interested in Weight Watchers, you can sign up -> here and sign up for $10/month for 10 months.)
I personally use the app Myfitnesspal to track my food. I use macros and focus on High Protein (calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates) and rotate through cuts and maintenance calories. (Use a calculator like this -> here) . I did WW for years, but now that I am more maintenance, with cuts throughout the year, and focusing on mobility with strength training. There is no right or wrong answer, as all bodies are different.
WW Ranch Dip Ingredients
Nonfat Greek Yogurt– You can use full-fat Greek yogurt or sour cream to make this, but it will add calories.
Ranch Seasoning– You can use packets or dry ranch seasoning from a container to make this. I have a container of dry ranch seasoning because of how much we use. I used my Homemade Ranch Seasoning

How To Make Ranch Dip
Start by making your ranch seasoning if you need to.
I use my Homemade Ranch Seasoning in this; you can see the recipe-> Homemade Ranch Seasoning. I love using fresh herbs and spices to make it. Mine has buttermilk, dried parsley, dry dill weed, freeze-dried chives, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper.

In a bowl or the yogurt container measure out and add the amount of seasoning for the dip. If 16 ounces of yogurt use one packet worth.

Stir together with a whisk or a spatial until it is well mixed.
Serve and enjoy!
How Much Ranch Seasoning Is In One Packet
One Hidden Valley Packet is 2 Tablespoons of seasoning.
This Homemade Ranch Dip recipe has 1 Teaspoon of seasoning for 5.3 ounces of Greek yogurt
For 16 ounces of Greek yogurt, you will use 2 tablespoons to make the dip.
You can always add more or less seasoning depending on your taste buds.
What To Dip Into Ranch Dip
Now the sky is the limit on how to serve and what to use this ranch dip on. I have used it as a mayo substitute for a new flavor.
Using low-carb food to dip into this can keep it keto but also healthy. Higher-calorie foods will add to the fat and calorie content.
- Chips
- Pizza
- Fresh Vegetables- Carrots, Cucumber, Celery, Broccoli, Celery Sticks, Snap Peas, Cherry Tomatoes, radishes, and cauliflower
- Chicken Wings
- French fries
- Crackers

Alterations For Low-Fat Ranch Dip
Cottage Cheese—You will want to use a blender to make the right consistency, but it is a good high-protein substitution.
Sour Cream– This will change the nutrition information, so if you are tracking your macros, calories, or Weight Watchers points be sure to recalculate

How To Store Homemade Ranch Dip
Store in an airtight container int he fridge for up to three days after making your ranch dip.
When you go to serve be sure to stir the dip again.
