This Weight Watchers Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken Recipe is a hit with my whole family! Finding meals everyone enjoys can be challenging, but this one is always a winner. Plus, it’s a delicious WW low-point option with good macros for protein as well!

As a mom, I love how easy this is; there is no prep work and the taste is fantastic!!! We have crazy nights with soccer and the kid’s schedule; it is incredible how we get dinner on the table some nights. Â I must say we will make this again with fried rice! The garlic chicken tastes like Chinese cuisine and would have been good with fried rice!!! The recipe for this I followed came from Food.com.Â

A Note From Jenny
When starting any healthy lifestyle, consult a doctor to address any personal health concerns. Some things can only be addressed medically and by a professional. Blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before starting and at least once a year, as these all can affect an active lifestyle.
With so many different programs, such as Weight Watchers, Keto, and macros, it can be hard to know what to pick. (If you’re interested in Weight Watchers, you can sign up -> here and sign up for $10/month for 10 months.)
I personally use the app Myfitnesspal to track my food. I use macros and focus on High Protein (calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates) and rotate through cuts and maintenance calories. (Use a calculator like this -> here) . I did WW for years, but now that I am more maintenance, with cuts throughout the year, and focusing on mobility with strength training. There is no right or wrong answer, as all bodies are different.

How To Make Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken:
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
Spray a 9X13 pan or sheet pan with non-stick spray, then cover the 9X13 pan or sheet pan with foil and then nonstick spray the foil.
Now funny story with this I didn’t read through all the comments when I first made this to see the tin foil warning. The brown sugar and the juices burned and ruined my pan completely. Trust me; tinfoil and spray under the tin foil, and sugar can also stick to the foil. See what happened the first time I made this with no foil? Â

Next, lay your chicken breasts in your baking pan on the sprayed tinfoil.

In a small frying pan, warm up your olive oil and add in the minced garlic on med-high heat.
Once the oil-garlic mixture is warm, add the brown sugar and cook into a thick gooey mixture.

Pour the garlic mixture over the chicken, and use a basting brush to cover the chicken breast completely.

Bake in the oven for about 20-30 minutes until it temps at 160 degrees and is done.
Use a meat thermometer to verify it is 160 degrees for each breast.

Serve with rice or a side salad!!
This chicken is also so good that I eat it just by itself, and the cold chicken is amazing on salads as well!!
Weight Watchers Garlic Chicken Point Breakdown

On the Weight Watchers plan, my chicken earned 2 points for a serving. Depending on how big a serving you make, this could be less.
Now, you will need to replace what you deem a serving size with the weight of your chicken.
