A Mermaid Water Cocktail is the perfect way to take yourself to a tropical location, all while sitting on your porch or in your home! You don’t have to go on a tropical getaway to have a tropical cocktail; you can whip them up at home!  Making cocktails at home can be budget-friendly as well.

Now, I don’t know about where you live, but here, cocktails are crazy expensive when you go out! Since I made my first cocktail, the Frozen Bananas Foster Cocktail, using Torani syrup, I have had fun finding ways to blend more flavors to make amazing cocktails.  Summer officially hit, meaning we are BBQing and spending more time outdoors! What better way to ring in summer than with a nice tropical cocktail?

How to make Mermaid Water Cocktail:

Pour ice into your glass.

Measure out one ounce of each syrup and vodka

Mason jar with ice, with measured out syrups

Pour the Torani Blue Curacao Syrup into the glass over your ice.

You can see how thick the Torani Blue Curacao Syrup is!

Next, using a spoon, pour Torani Lime Syrup over the back of the spoon. Pouring over the spoon helps layer the flavors better! I loved this trick, my girlfriend, who was a bartender before, taught me.

Next, wipe off the spoon, then pour Torani Lemon Syrup over the back of the spoon.

Next, pour in your vodka and slowly fill the remaining of the glass with the Ginger Ale Lemonade.

I love how the color blends together as you pour in the Ginger Ale!  Now I made this when I had another family over for dinner! Let’s say the other mom and I loved throwing the umbrellas in our drinks and sitting on the deck talking while the kids played, and we visited! Plus, if you keep little umbrellas at home, you can drop them in cocktails to increase the tropical effect!

I want to try Torani lime syrup first and want to make your copycat recipe. Mermaid cocktail looks so delicious.

  2. I’d like to make the Pineapple Fizz Rum Punch, using both Torani Pineapple Syrup
    and Torani Vanilla Syrup.

  3. Being that I love everything lemon, I would definately try the torani lemon but I have no idea what I would make with it.

  4. I think the Torani Blue Curacao Syrup would taste awesome over pound cake with vanilla ice cream!

  5. I want to try the Torani Bourbon Caramel syrup & make the frozen bananas foster! Sounds delicious!

  6. ne of the syrups I would like to try is the coconut and would try it in coffee, oatmeal. popsicles and maybe some baked goods.

  7. I’ve added a variety of their flavors to my smoothies for years. I really like all of the ones I’ve tried, but there are quite a few I haven’t tried yet, so I guess I’d go with the sugar free English Toffee syrup first.

  8. I would like to try the Peanut Butter flavor and I would add it to a milkshake to make a peanut butter shake. Yummy!

I want to try the Lemon flavored one first, I would use it in either a lemon drop or a lemon martini sometime this summer. While sitting in our backyard in my favorite adirondack chair. 🙂
