Garlic Butter Noodle Ingredients
Butter– You can use unsalted butter, I used salted since I wasn’t adding in salt.
Parmesan Cheese– My go-to parmesan cheese for this is grated, which is shelf-stable at a store like Kraft, but you can use fresh grated or shredded if you want. This is budget-friendly for how much my teens can eat.
Minced Garlic– I use jarred minced garlic, but you will want to use less garlic if you use fresh minced garlic.

How To Make Butter And Garlic Pasta
If you are making this as a side dish to pair with this, start the pot of water at about the 20-30 minute cook time mark before you are ready to serve. If the main dish distracts you, this builds in wiggle room to get it done.
Start a pot of water on high heat with a lid on the pot. The lid on the pot will help the water to boil faster; this tip took me years to believe. You can also boil salted water but I do not.

Once your water is at a rolling boil, mix in your No Yolk Noodles so all noodles are submerged.
Recover with the lid and allow to cook. Cook according to the package instructions. You can stir occasionally, but I have not stirred before, and it was fine.
I did not discover this until late in my cooking life, but a pasta spoon is fantastic; it grips even spaghetti noodles better than tongs, so they are easy to serve and stir.

Test a noodle for doneness (al dente-it should be tender but not mushy), and if the noodles are done, drain the pasta water using an over-the-sink strainer.

Set the pot on a burner or a pot holder on the kitchen counter, and drop in your butter and minced garlic. The pot will be warm enough with the hot noodles to melt the butter and not burn.

Dump your cooked noodles into the pot with the butter and garlic. The hot noodles will help the butter to melt.

Sprinkle with the amount of parmesan cheese and stir till well mixed. I am a firm believer that cheese is measured with the heart.

Serve and enjoy!
How To Store Leftovers Of Garlic Butter Noodles
Store in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to three days after cooking. They will not freeze well.
How To Reheat Leftover Garlic Butter Noodles
You can reheat the noodles on the stovetop at low heat or microwave.

I have always loved simple buttered noodles with Parmesan, and the garlic is a nice addition. Sounds great!
My husband loved the garlic noodles. I added frozen green beans in with the noodles so I would have a vegetable to go with. Served it with grilled hot honey chicken. Definitely will make again.
