Nothing beats a good mocha, but a Nutella Mocha?? This is the stuff sweet tooths are made of, but who needs all that sugar? This skinny Nutella Mocha is full of flavor but without all the sugar, but packed with protein!

With being active, protein intake is a big focus of my healthy lifestyle and Weight Watchers journey. As I have gotten older, sugar is not my friend, so thankfully, products like sugar-free syrups allow me to sweeten and flavor my coffee without sugar. I love that this drink has barely any sugar has caffeine, and 30 grams of protein!

A Note From Jenny

When starting any healthy lifestyle, consult a doctor to address any personal health concerns. Some things can only be addressed medically and by a professional. Blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before starting and at least once a year, as these all can affect an active lifestyle.

With so many different programs, such as Weight Watchers, Keto, and macros, it can be hard to know what to pick. (If you’re interested in Weight Watchers, you can sign up -> here and sign up for $10/month for 10 months.)

I personally use the app Myfitnesspal to track my food.  I use macros and focus on High Protein (calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates) and rotate through cuts and maintenance calories. (Use a calculator like this -> here)  . I did WW for years, but now that I am more maintenance, with cuts throughout the year, and focusing on mobility with strength training. There is no right or wrong answer, as all bodies are different.

Weight Watchers Nutella Mocha Ingredients

Jordan Skinny Syrup Mocha– You can use any brand of sugar-free syrup that is mocha, but use your calculator to verify it is zero points.

Hazlenut Sugar-Free Syrup

Cold Brew– Now I use Wandering Bear cold brew coffee; I love I didn’t have to brew it! I usually use a regular Kreiug cup, but espresso shots or decaf coffee can also be used in this drink if you do not want the caffeine.

Chocolate Protein Shake– I used a ready-to-drink protein but you can use a protein powder. I am not a morning fan; the carton protein shakes are my go-to.

Fat-Free Whipped Topping– The whipped topping can affect the calorie and Weight Watchers points to your latte, so double-check the nutritional information.

Chocolate Sprinkles– This is optional but made for a fun-looking drink

What Is A Proffee?

A proffee is coffee with a protein shake in place of creamer! You can use already flavored protein shakes like Salted Caramel, Chocolate, Peanut butter Chocolate, or Mocha. Adding sugar-free syrups is a great way to change the flavors of the coffee. Skinny Girl Drink syrups are one of my favorites to add to my proffees.

Now I love to use the Pure Protein Ready to Drink shakes as they are only 1 Weight Watchers point, and Premier Protein Ready to Drink shakes are 3 WW Points. But in addition to low Weight Watchers points, these drinks are also keto!

How To Make Nutella Proffee

Brew your coffee if needed.

I used a clear Venti Starbucks cup, but any large cup will work. I have a thing for Starbucks cups, so it’s always my go-to.

Fill your cup with ice and pour in your protein shake.

Next, pour in the Cold Brew coffee, mine. I did not add the entire container to the cup; I left room for whipped topping; you can fill it all the way if you want.

Pour or pump your Skinny Mocha Syrup and hazelnut Syrup into your cup. I did three pumps of hazelnut and one pump of mocha.

The bottles of Skinny Syrup do not come with the pumps, but they have the syrup pumps on Amazon. (See them-> here) We use the fruit syrups on our Red Bull Drinks as well.

Use your straw to mix. I left the straw in the cup.

Optional topping with whipped topping and sprinkles. I did not track the sprinkles as it was such a small amount, and the amount of topping I used was 0 points.

Now, besides the sprinkles, the only thing with points is the protein shakes! I have three go-to brands, all 30 grams of protein! Being active and having protein are huge priorities for me!

Protein Shake Recipes

I love to use ready-to-drink protein shakes to make drinks at home. They are so easy, and they taste amazing! These are the ones my family has made and love!

These shakes are 11 Fl Oz and Have 30 Grams of Protein and only 1g sugar in each with a creamy texture! They do have artificial flavors, but I don’t find them too potent or fake flavored. They have been an excellent tool for weight loss as they are quick and easy and make great drinks recipes!

If you are looking for other tasty ways to get in more protein, Premier Protein protein bars and the Premier Protein Cereals are delicious.
