Square Pancakes, AKA Casserole Pan Pancakes are the perfect way not to kill pancakes.  If you are a parent like me shiny object kicks in often, and when making pancakes I am usually also making, eggs, hashbrowns, or bacon and tend to forget to flip the pancakes.

Now, these have indeed been a pancake-saver in my house!!! I am CONSTANTLY burning pancakes because I forget to flip them…or I get distracted!! It never fails. I make a big batch of pancakes and I then burn half!!  We love pancakes for dinner, AKA brinner, but it can become expensive when I constantly burn them!!  My girls also top theirs with sprinkles and chocolate chips!

Square Pancakes Ingredients:

  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Eggs
  • Baking Powder
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • All-Purpose Flour

How To Make Square Pancakes :

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Grease your pan, I used a Pyrex 9X13 pan, I prefer to bake in a glass pan over metal. Metal or glass is a personal preference.

In a mixer, combine your milk, butter, and egg.

Next, mix all your dry ingredients into the wet ingredient mixture.

Allow to mix until all blended; I throw it all in my Kitchen Aid Mixer and let it do all the work.

Pour your batter into your casserole pan

Bake for about  20 minutes, and test with a toothpick for doneness.
