I’m all about quick and easy options, especially when it comes to staying on track with my protein goals. Premier Protein has been a longtime favorite of mine from the Weight Watchers program, and now with counting macros they fit my plan. These ready-to-drink shakes have remained my go-to choice. Whether you’re focusing on Weight Watchers, macros, or simply looking for high-protein, low-calorie, and low-carb options, these shakes are a great fit.

Orange Creamsicle Protein Shake Recipe Ingredients:

  • Premier Protein Vanilla– I use ready-to-drink protein shakes; you can use a powder; mix it before adding the flavoring. If you use a brand besides Premier Protein, recalculate calories or points.
  • Ice
  • Orange Crush Water Drink Mix I prefer to use the liquid Orange Crush, it seems to blend better in the protein shake.
  • Fat-Free Whipped Topping

How To Make Premier Protein Orange Creamsicle:

I used my Ninja Personal blender (they are ->here on Amazon). I have used this for years for fruit smoothies, so I knew the ice wouldn’t be a problem for blending.

In your blender cup or blender, pour in the Premier Protein, add some of the orange flavoring, and then add ice.  You can use ice from an ice maker or an ice cube tray.

If you are using powder flavoring, mix the Premier Protein with the powder, then add ice.  This will allow the powder to dissolve completely for smoother flavoring.*

I used the auto setting on my Ninja for mixing, but allowed it to mix until ice was crushed and blended.

Pour into a glass and top with Fat-Free Whipped Topping.

Isabella had to try this as well; you could make this and split it into two servings if you wanted to for even fewer calories in the serving.

  1. This was very tasty and sweet. A little thick for me, so I ended up adding about half a bottle of water to make it more “chuggable”.
