I love finding new ways to get protein; this Orange Creamsicle Protein Shake Recipe is the perfect treat for this warmer weather right now! Premier protein is one of my favorites for staying on track with WW. This shake tastes like ice cream but works out to only 3 Weigth Watchers Points.

I am a huge fan ofqQuick and easy! I have been drinking Premier Protein for years on Weight Watchers, even with all the plan changes. There are only two weight watchers points per carton! I drink a chocolate shake almost every morning and pack them for when I work out too.

WHAT IS Weight Watchers?
When starting a new weight loss program or diet change, consult a doctor or physician about personal health concerns. It is a good idea to have blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before and during being on the WW program.
New to Weight Watchers?? Also known as WW, a weight loss program uses points assigned to food to track and lose weight. When you sign up, you take an assessment that will assign you a point value to eat daily and a weekly allowance. You can carry over 4 points from the day into your weekly budget, which is handy when you need more points.
I have been on Weight Watchers since 2011. They have had Points Plus Value, WW Smartpoints, Blue Plan, Green Plan, Purple Plan, WW Personal Points, and now Weight Watchers Points. The new Weight Watchers Simplified plan is the new program launched in November 2022 similar to previous plans like WW Smartpoints, with some color plans. No matter the WW plan, they work to help you learn healthy eating habits. I have hit lifetime goal weight several times but stopped operating the plan and tracking, so the weight does creep back on. Orange Creamsicle Protein Shake Recipe Ingredients:
- Premier Protein Vanilla– I use ready-to-drink protein shakes; you can use a powder; mix it before adding the flavoring. If you use a brand besides premier protein, recalculate points.
- Ice
- Orange Crush Water Drink Mix– I prefer to use the liquid Orange Crush it seems to blend better in the protein shake
- Fat-Free Whipped Topping

How To Make Premier Protein Orange Creamsicle:
I used my Ninja Personal blender (they are ->here on Amazon); I have used this for years for fruit smoothies so I knew the ice wouldn’t be a problem for blending.
In your blender cup or blender, pour in your Premier Protein, squirt in some of the orange flavoring, and ice.

*If you are using powder flavoring, I would mix the Premier Protein with the powder, then add ice. This will allow the powder to dissolve completely for smoother flavoring.*

I used the auto setting on my Ninja for mixing but allowed it to mix until ice crushed and blended.
Pour into a glass and top with Fat-Free Whipped Topping. For the store brand of whipped topping I used, I can go up to 7 Tbsp of topping for One Weight Watchers Point. It can be hard to guess how much was there since it came out of the spray can.

These shakes are 11 Fl Oz and Have 30 Grams of Protein and only 1g sugar in each with a creamy texture! They do have artificial flavors, but I don’t find them too potent or fake flavored. They have been an excellent tool for my weight loss as they are quick and easy and make great drinks recipes!

This was very tasty and sweet. A little thick for me, so I ended up adding about half a bottle of water to make it more “chuggable”.
