This Root Beer Protein Shake is the perfect nostalgic treat with 30 grams of protein in every glass! If you love root beer floats but want to stay on track with your health goals, this shake is the perfect swap. Made with a Premier Protein shake and root beer flavoring, it blends into a frosty, low-point weight watchers treat as well as a low calorie treat! This is perfect for hot days or when you want a sweet treat.

Premier Protein has always been one of my favorites for staying on track with eating healthy and getting in my protein. This shake tastes like ice cream but works out to only 3 Weight Watchers points if you are on the plan. I drink a chocolate shake almost every morning and pack them for when I work out too. They are great for staying on plan.

How To Make Root Beer Protein Shakes:
I used my Nina Bl482 blender ->here; I have used this for years for fruit smoothies, so I knew the ice wouldn’t be a problem for blending.

In your blender cup or blender, pour in your Premier Protein and add in your Root Beer powder stick.
Blend until the powder is dissolved, and then add ice.
Blend until ice is well blended.
*You may be able to find the root beer in liquid flavoring, but I had no luck finding it.*

I used the auto setting on my Ninja for mixing, but allowed it to mix until the ice was crushed and blended.
Pour into a glass and top with Fat-Free Whipped Topping.
