A Note From Jenny
When starting any healthy lifestyle, consult a doctor to address any personal health concerns. Some things can only be addressed medically and by a professional. Blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before starting and at least once a year, as these all can affect an active lifestyle.
With so many different programs, such as Weight Watchers, Keto, and macros, it can be hard to know what to pick. (If you’re interested in Weight Watchers, you can sign up -> here and sign up for $10/month for 10 months.)
I personally use the app Myfitnesspal to track my food. I use macros and focus on High Protein (calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates) and rotate through cuts and maintenance calories. (Use a calculator like this -> here) . I did WW for years, but now that I am more maintenance, with cuts throughout the year, and focusing on mobility with strength training. There is no right or wrong answer, as all bodies are different.

French Onion Greek Yogurt Dip Ingredients
Nonfat Greek Yogurt– You can use full-fat plain Greek yogurt or sour cream to make this, but it will add calories and fat to the dip.
Onion Soup or Dip Mix– I used a packet of Lipton Onion Recipe Soup And Dip Mix, but there are lots of generics that work well too.
*The recipe on the box calls for one packet of mix and 16 ounces of sour cream.*

How To Make French Onion Dip
Grab your Greek yogurt and your onion soup packets.

Combine the yogurt with the onion soup mix in a bowl or right in the yogurt container. I used a spatula for this step.

Serve and enjoy! I served mine with bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, celery, carrots, cucumbers, and snap peas.

*Pro-tip: when you make the batch pre-dish this into individual containers for easy snacking later. I buy little food storage containers to put mine in. You can get them at Target, Walmart, or Amazon!
A little planning makes a difference in staying on track with your goals. Also, the disposable containers are perfect for work lunches, traveling, or camping.
What To Dip Into Greek Yogurt French Onion Dip
Now, the sky is the limit on how to serve and what to use this ranch dip on. I have used it as a mayo substitute for a new flavor in sandwiches and wraps.
Using low-carb food to dip into this can keep it keto but also healthy. Higher-calorie foods will add to the fat and calorie content.
- Potato chips
- Pizza
- Fresh Vegetables- Carrots, Cucumber, Celery, Broccoli, Celery Sticks, Snap Peas, Cherry Tomatoes, radishes, and cauliflower
- Chicken Wings
- French fries
- Peppers
- Crackers
- Pita Chips
