Have you ever noticed how expensive it is to have a night out with the girls!!! It adds up so fast that it’s quite the money saver to have a girl’s night in, plus cocktails are perfect for a family get-together, and the guys are watching the big game.
Or they are perfect, you know, just for a night alone that you would like a fancy drink. Truthfully almost any time is a great time to make up a cocktail!!

I highly recommend it if you haven’t tried making cocktails at home. I wish I had started doing it sooner!!! I know when there are tailgating get-togethers, I am not a big beer drinker, so knowing how to whip up drinks I like has made the get-togethers more fun! Plus, you can change how strong they are or make them not as strong!

The Husband and I used to make more cocktails before we had kids. Beer and wine have just been too convenient. That said, I’ve been wanting to make cocktails more lately, so I’m looking forward to giving some of these recipes a try. Thanks for the great list!

What a fun (and thrifty) idea for a girl’s night! While it is always fun to go out on the town, it can get pretty costly pretty quickly. It is strawberry season here in Florida, so I’ll have to try the Strawberry Creamsicle sometime soon.
