This Instant Pot Beef Chili is a family favorite!! Not only can beef chili be made in a crockpot or dutch oven, it works amazingly well in the Instant Pot! I love this for nights when I forgot to cook. (It happens)

(I have included affiliate links to products I love. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.) In addition, this post contains affiliate links that will make me a small commission when used to order online.

I took most of this right from our other chili recipe, but I changed it up as I have become more confident with spices and had no time for bacon! I tend to use some of my pre-cooked ground beef  (see more -> here) to make this go faster.

Cooked Ground Beef In Containers Before Freezing

Take a lot of prep work out of weeknight dinners and precook and freeze your cooked ground beef! Pull and defrost the ground beef to put in recipes like this for an easy weeknight dinner! (If you aren’t sure how to best do this, check out Freezing Cooked Ground Beef)

How To Make Instant Pot Beef Chili:

If you need to cook your ground beef or thaw out your cooked ground beef.

Open up your cans of beans and corn and pour them into an over-the-sink strainer.

Rinse your beans and corn, and allow them to drip dry.

Optional is to spray your Instant Pot with a nonstick spray; I did this just cause I didn’t want the sugars to burn and stick.

Dump everything into the Instant Pot beef, beans, and corn.

Open up your tomatoes and beef broth and add them to the Instant Pot.

The amounts can vary based on what your family taste is like. I use a lot more cumin then chili powder. I season it and then add more if I need to as it’s cooking based off the smell. Hope that helps!
