This Easy Chicken Stove Top Casserole Recipe is a long-time family favorite! It is always a sign that fall or cooler weather has arrived. Thankfully on the My WW Blue and Purple plans the chicken is zero points!! I have been making this for over 7 years and it is always a hit with the kids!! I personally love how easy this Stove Top Casserole is to make!! (I have included affiliate links to products I love. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.)
Now, this is full of most of my pantry must-haves so it’s easy to have the supplies on hand! My kids love how filling this dinner as a whole is and it has Kylies favorite Stove Top Stuffing on it, so it’s a dinner that she will eat as well!! To lower, the smart point value switch to low-fat cheese or cream of chicken but I chose not to.

How To Make Stove Top Chicken Casserole:
Cook up and shred your chicken.
Spray down your pan and place the shredded chicken in it, and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. I used a Pyrex 2 Quart oval because the lid made it perfect for storing the leftovers!

In a separate bowl mix together 1 2/3 cup of hot water and Stove Top so it’s moistened and let sit while you assemble the rest of the ingredients.
In a separate bowl mix the 1/3 cup milk, can of cream of chicken, and the cheese.
Spread soup mixture over the chicken.
Spread the Stove Top over the top of the soup mixture and chicken.
Bake for 15-20 minutes depending on your preferred crunchiness of the Stove Top.
Now the fun stuff the point break down!!!
Only 7 WW Freestyle Smartpoints per serving on the My WW Purple or Blue Plan!! Now you can reduce the points by using reduced-fat cream of chicken, low-fat milk, and reduced-fat cheese but I choose to use full fat on those products!

Made this tonight for dinner. Was good for a fast fix meal! Put a little to much chicken in mine so next time I will do less and think I’ll add a small onion. Everyone in the family give it a ?.

I do one similar to this, but I add part of a bag of frozen mixed vegetables to the chicken and chunk the chicken instead of shredding it.
