This is seriously the perfect Camping Griddle Breakfast Skillet!! Nothing beats eating out in the woods and all the camping foods.  (I have included affiliate links to products I love. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.)

This Camping Griddle Breakfast Skillet is perfect to make while camping or even at home! Easy to make with potatoes, eggs, onions, bacon, and cheese!

Now we make variations of this at home but we jumped at the chance to try it out on our Blackstone 17 inch griddle.  I love how easy this is to make while we were camping.  You could put in a variety of things to change up to your own tastes.

Now let me say using the propane hose to my tanks was so much cheaper than those little green tanks, plus I can get it refilled so it’s less waste as well.

Breakfast Griddle Skillet Ingredients:

  • 1 Dozen Eggs
  • Gold Potatoes About 4 lbs
  • 1lb Of sliced Bacon
  • 5 Polish Sausages
  • Cheese
  • Minced Garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper

How TO Make Blackstone Griddle Breakfast Skillet:

Wash off your potatoes and dry them off as well.

Slice and dice all your veggies and polish sausages.  Now I have shared this knife many times but it truly is my favorite is this Aicok Knife (HERE)for under $10, but it keeps going out of stock often on Amazon due to how awesome it is.  There are a lot of other top-rated knives on Amazon at a great price.  I am not the best at picking out Knives so when I can read reviews to find a good quality knife it’s a win for me.   I wrapped this up in a kitchen towel to take camping with us, trust me it came in handy.

Fire up your griddle, you can spread on a little bit of oil or bacon grease to help with the nonstick, as well as helping to saute the food.

On your griddle mix together the potatoes, onion, and polish sausage.

Season with salt and pepper.

Cook until your potatoes are tender.

Once your potatoes are done remove them to a bowl or another plate and cover them to keep warm.

Fry up bacon to your doneness preference and fry up your eggs at the same time (or scramble).

I mean does anything beat bacon in the morning??  Just tasty sounding and wakes up the whole camp too! (We were trying to drain off our last little propane tank the bacon did it off)

Serve everything together and enjoy!! We topped ours with shredded cheese and you could mix in sour cream as well!

Now we have quite the setup from Cabela’s that worked great for holding grills, spices, prep stations, and more outside.  (You can see it -> here on Cabela’s site).  We used a tabletop griddle for our breakfast and making burgers.   We also bring a large propane tank for us to use instead of the small ones, with the extension hose is a huge money saver and eco-friendly as well. Plus it is easy to move back and forth between equipment if needed.  Also, it has a sink so if you need to you can wash dishes right there!

I’m going to make this! But I’m going to add diced onion because we love onion! And maybe some diced ham to, I am curious what stand you have under your grill? I need that
