Now we make variations of this at home, but we jumped at the chance to try it out on our Blackstone 17-inch griddle.  I love how easy this was to make while we were camping.  You can add a variety of things to suit your taste.   This is also the perfect breakfast to make at home, everything cooks on the griddle, so it’s the perfect one-pan breakfast!

How To Make Blackstone Griddle Breakfast Skillet:

Wash and dry your potatoes thoroughly. You can peel them if you want to.

Sliced polish sausage and onions on cutting board

Slice and dice all your veggies and polish sausages.

Fire up your griddle; you can spread a little oil or bacon grease to help with nonstick performance, as well as to sauté the food.

On your grill, mix the potatoes, onion, and polished sausage.

Season with salt and pepper.

Cook until your potatoes are tender.

Once your potatoes are done, remove them to a bowl or another plate and cover them to keep warm.

Fry bacon to your preferred doneness and cook your eggs simultaneously, or scramble them.

Bacon cooking on blackstone griddle

I mean, does anything beat bacon in the morning??  Just tasty sounding and wakes up the whole camp too! (We were trying to drain off our last little propane tank, the bacon did it off)

Serve everything together and enjoy!!

We topped ours with shredded cheese, and you could also mix in sour cream!

Breakfast station set up at a campsite

We now have a setup from Cabela’s that works great for holding grills, spices, prep stations, and more outside.  (You can see it -> here on Bass Pro’s/Cabela’s site).  We used a tabletop griddle for our breakfast and to make burgers.      In the morning, it doubled as our breakfast station.

We also bring a large propane tank for us to use instead of the small ones, with the extension hose is a huge money saver and eco-friendly as well. Additionally, it is easy to switch between equipment as needed.  Additionally, it features a sink, allowing you to wash dishes on-site if needed.

What breakfast do you make when camping??

How To Store Leftover Breakfast Scramble

Any leftover breakfast can be stored in a Ziploc bag or an airtight container. If camping, it can be stored in the fridge or cooler for up to three days.

I’m going to make this! But I’m going to add diced onion because we love onion! And maybe some diced ham to, I am curious what stand you have under your grill? I need that
