Riverside State Park is a Washington State park located near Spokane, WA!  Kylie and I road trip to Spokane once a year later so we are always looking for new places to check out while we were are in town.

Riverside State Park is just 9 miles from Spokane.  We stayed at a hotel right off of I-90 so it was a quick little drive to reach this State Park.  Riverside provides recreational opportunities for almost every type of visitor. From mountain biking to horseback riding, rock climbing, and hiking. Riverside has it all! You can head on over -> here to learn and book your trip to Riverside!

Riverside State Park Features:

  • 55 Miles of Hiking Trails
  • 1 Mile ADA Hiking Trail
  • Camping
  • Amphitheater
  • Bird Watching
  • Mountain Biking
  • Rock Climbing
  • Cross Country Skiing
  • Snowshowing

Water Activities At River Side State Park:

  • Boating
  • Water Skiing
  • Kayaking
  • Fishing
  • White Water Kayaking
  • 3 Watercraft Launches
  • Paddle Boarding

Riverside State Park does have Paddle EZ which offers kayak and stand-up paddleboard from rentals from May through September. Head on over -> here to learn more and see what current policies are, they were not open for 2020 so be sure to double-check the status for the current times.   This is located in the Nine Mile area of the park.

While Kylie and I only explored the Pitcher and Bowl area of the park we did drive-thru a lot of it with our family that was in town.  It was so pretty and we have been itching to get back there ever since!!  We realized after we got home how many state parks are in the Spokane area so our list of parks to explore has grown for our next road trip!

What is your favorite state park?
