Now I know, Air Fryer Chicken Tenders With Cornflakes sounds like kid’s food. But trust me, this is a delicious twist on chicken. One thing about chicken is cooking it the same way every week can be boring. Air Fryer Cornflake Chicken is delicious, and it’s also a dinner your kids and teens will love!

We love to use the air fryer for quick, easy dinners. With our work, school, and soccer practice schedule, dinner can be a busy time. Regarding a healthy lifestyle, I love to use mine for meal prepping for the coming week.
A Note From Jenny
When starting any healthy lifestyle, consult a doctor to address any personal health concerns. Some things can only be addressed medically and by a professional. Blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before starting and at least once a year, as these all can affect an active lifestyle.
With so many different programs, such as Weight Watchers, Keto, and macros, it can be hard to know what to pick. (If you’re interested in Weight Watchers, you can sign up -> here and sign up for $10/month for 10 months.)
I personally use the app Myfitnesspal to track my food. I use macros and focus on High Protein (calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates) and rotate through cuts and maintenance calories. (Use a calculator like this -> here) . I did WW for years, but now that I am more maintenance, with cuts throughout the year, and focusing on mobility with strength training. There is no right or wrong answer, as all bodies are different.
Weight Watchers Cornflake Chicken Recipe Ingredients
- Nonfat Greek Yogurt– Using a lower-fat sour cream or Greek yogurt will lower the point value for this recipe.
- Corn Flakes
- Ranch Seasoning– You can use packets or dry ranch seasoning from a container to make this. I have a container of dry ranch seasoning because of how much we use. If you want Homemade Ranch Seasoning is amazing in this dish
- Chicken Breast-I use chicken breasts, so they are 0 Weight Watchers points. You can use chicken thighs; it does change the calories and points.

How To Make Chicken Tenders Corn Flakes
Start by trimming your chicken breasts. Remove any extra fat and cut them into slices if you wish.
Measure your Greek nonfat yogurt into a bowl. You won’t use all of it but 1/2 cup is pretty close.

In a large bag, measure out your cornflakes and your ranch seasoning. You can also buy cornflake crumbs instead of making your own.

Roll the Ziploc bag with a rolling pin to crush the cornflakes. You can do this as thick or as fine as you want.
Spray your air fryer basket or air fryer racks with a nonstick spray.
Now I made this using the Dreo Chefmaker (don’t worry, it’s on Amazon here as well as their site), and the intelligent cooking program took all the guesswork out of the cooking time, and the humidity control made for juicy breasts. You can see it on their site -> here or on Amazon -> here.

Dip your chicken one at a time into the yogurt and then shake into the bag of cornflakes. You can do this like shake and bake or you can do it with a fork into the bag.

Spread your chicken out on the basket or the air fryer rack.

If your air fryer has a thermometer probe, insert it into the largest part of a chicken piece.
Set your air fryer to 380 degrees and cook for 11 minutes.

Your Air Fryer cooking time may vary, so keep an eye on the chicken as it cooks. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken cooks to 160 degrees.
