How To Make All Purpose Seasoning

Have a mason jar ready for use.  I mixed mine in a bigger jar and gave a small jar as a gift to a friend.  You can easily make a big batch by doubling/trippling the recipe into a larger jar.

Measure out the seasonings into the jar. It looks really pretty when you layer it in.

Mix by shaking the jar or by using a fork or whisk in a bowl. I like to put the lid on the jar and shake it.

Seal the jar and store it till you are ready to use it. Be sure to make a note of the day prepared

You’re gonna laugh, but I put this on everything! It is my go-to seasoning. I also have friends who now make their own seasoning mix and swear by it! Grilled meat and oven-roasted vegetables – it’s amazing! Add a little olive oil as a binder, sprinkle on the seasoning, and you are good to go!

How To Store Homemade Spice Blend

Just like storing store-bought spices, you will want to keep the blend in an airtight container in your spice cabinet. Be sure to write the date you mixed on the bottle.

You will want to use it within 6 months for the freshest taste.  Ensure it’s an airtight storage container that seals completely to prevent moisture.
