Slow-cooker Coca-Cola Pulled Pork BBQ Sliders are my family’s favorite tailgating food. I love that I can make them in my crockpot, which saves a ton of time and work. Plus, they can be made before the game, making for less up-and-down during those good games!

We love football season yearly and try to make one new tailgating recipe each month as the season continues. As a busy mom, I have been leaning towards easy recipes that require the least amount of work possible. This week we whipped up these Coca-Cola Pulled Pork BBQ Sliders!

Pulled Pork BBQ Coca Cola Sliders Ingredients:
- Pork Shoulder Roast– You can also use a pork butt roast instead of a pork shoulder roast.
- Coca-Cola
- Honey BBQ Sauce-You can swap out with a spicy BBQ sauce blend if you want to.
- Minced Garlic

How To Make Slow Cooker Coca-Cola Pulled Pork BBQ Sliders
Start with spraying the inside of the crockpot with a non-stick spray, or using a slow cooker liner. I made this in my 8 Quart Crockpot; enough for leftovers!
Next, place the roast in the crockpot and cover with minced garlic; I like to spread mine like a paste.
After that, pour in your Coca-Cola; I used about 1 ½ cans.
The amount of Coca-Cola will be based on the size of your roast. Be sure to cover the bottom of the crockpot with liquid to keep the meat nice and moist.

Finally, cover your crockpot with the lid and cook on the low-temperature setting for 6 to 8 hours.
After your meat is cooked, use a meat thermometer to verify that your meat has reached a safe internal temperature of 145°F.
Once you have verified that your pork is finished cooking, carefully remove the meat from the crockpot onto a plate.
Using two forks, pull the meat apart carefully and shred it. Another option is to use gloves to pull the meat into shreds, or use Meat Claws, which make it easy to shred meat.
Once the meat has all been shredded, place the shredded meat into a bowl to mix with BBQ sauce.

After your BBQ sauce is in the bowl, mix the sauce well with the shredded pork with a fork or your hands, ensuring all the sauce is distributed well.
Optional: Add a bit of Coca-Cola into the pork bbq mixture to add more flavor.
Now you are ready to scoop and serve!

The final step, scoop the pulled pork onto slider-sized buns, you can use other buns, but my kids love slider buns! They are the perfect size for their tiny hands. Serve with your favorite side dish, or in our case, potato chips!

Can you use same ingredients but with chicken breasts.
