Weight Watchers English Muffin Pizza are a long-time family update!! Personally, I love how easy they are to make and the fact I can easily customize them to what each kid likes, Plus I can change them up to fit into my points for the day on Weight Watchers.

Now we eat English Muffin Pizzas year-round, but they are one of my favorites for tailgating! I can have pizza and not sacrifice many of my daily Weight Watchers points on pizza!
Plus, when the kids are home on break or for the summer it makes for a frugal meal for them to eat at home. I often pick up English muffins at the bread store and freeze them for eating later on.

WHAT IS Weight Watchers?
When starting a new weight loss program or diet change, consult a doctor or physician about personal health concerns. It is a good idea to have blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before and during being on the WW program.
New to Weight Watchers?? Also known as WW, a weight loss program uses points assigned to food to track and lose weight. When you sign up, you take an assessment that will assign you a point value to eat daily and a weekly allowance. You can carry over 4 points from the day into your weekly budget, which is handy when you need more points.
I have been on Weight Watchers since 2011. They have had Points Plus Value, WW Smartpoints, Blue Plan, Green Plan, Purple Plan, WW Personal Points, and now Weight Watchers Points. The new Weight Watchers Simplified plan is the new program launched in November 2022, similar to previous plans like WW Smartpoints, with some color plans. ( You can see the Weight Watchers Zero Point Foods 2023 -> here)
No matter the WW plan, it works to help you learn healthy eating habits. I have hit my lifetime goal weight several times but stopped following the plan and tracking, so the weight does creep back on.
Right now, you can head on over -> here and sign up for Weight Watchers for $5 a month for the first three months.
Weight Watchers English Muffin Pizzas Ingredients:
- Mozzarella Cheese– To lower the point value, you can use fat-free cheese or low-fat cheese but I prefer whole-fat dairy.
- English Muffins– These will be split in half, there are lower point options for english muffins, and each brand can have a different point value.
- Pizza Sauce– I used Ragu brand pizza sauce, but any pizza sauce will work for this recipe.
Optional Pizza Meat Toppings:
These will change the points value of the pizza, be sure to measure as you add to ensure tracking is accurate.
Optional Other Pizza Toppings
- Green Peppers
- Pineapple
- Mushrooms
- Black Olives
How To Make Weight Watchers English Muffin Pizza:
Start out and preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Take out your English Muffins and cut them in half.
Spead your English Muffin halves out onto a cookie/baking sheet. Put down parchment paper to prevent the cheese and toppings from cooking on the cookie sheet.
Spread each half of the English muffins with pizza sauce.
*Now for the two halves that were mine, I measured out 1/4 cup of sauce since 1/8 cup and 1/4 cup of the sauce was 1 point to make sure I didn’t go too much, and I ended up with 1/8 cup of cheese on my pizzas.*
Top with cheese and other toppings, I tend to put my other toppings underneath the cheese.
**For the Weight Watchers pizzas for me I cut some Canadian bacon in quarters to make my pizza. I actually snacked on 2 pieces and used only one piece on my pizza. If you have points you can add on more cheese as well. You can use a fat-free cheese or reduce the cheese amount to lower your Smartpoints value for the pizza.**’
Bake for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees in your oven.
You can tell how cheesy these pizzas are, plus it’s a great way to get the kids in the kitchen with you cooking and get them started on the cooking.
My kids have been helping make this since they were two; they love to top their pizzas and make them better than their siblings!

How many carbs in this with just sauce and cheese? Asking for type 1 diabetic
Jeff says
According to Noom, there are about 76 carbs in this meal, which includes two English muffin halves with pizza sauce and cheese. I believe you can find low carb alternatives for all three parts to bring it down to an acceptable level. My wife is also diabetic, and eats this with whole grain muffins, but only eats one half.
I hope this helps!
