Grilled Corn On The Cob In Foil!! This is a family tradition for years and one that the kids look forward to every year when the farm stand opens up!! Once the produce stand by me opens it is all that the kids talk about! Is it time for corn??? It is seriously a daily question. And while I get it’s just a pot of water on the stove when it is hot outside I prefer to grill my corn up on the grill.

Corn on the cob is one of the few vegetables that I can get all of the kids to eat. Finding ways to cook it differently helps to keep this mom from getting bored with the same vegetable multiple times a week. This is one of those few veggies I can get everyone in the house to eat, and we always make extra as well since the kids love it so much. Once you try this out you won’t go back to eating corn not grilled, plus you can change up the flavor as well on the corn on the cob. Now it is not as hard as you would think to learn how to grill on on the cob in foil.

How To Grill Corn On The Cob In Foil
Fire up your grill, we did ours on a gas grill, but I am sure it would be just as amazing on a charcoal grill, anyway, it will result in the best-grilled corn.
Remove the husk from the ears of corn.

Rub down the corn with the butter, which helps it not stick to the foil and also adds flavor.
Lay the ears of corn on the foil or hold over the sink to season corn on the cob with garlic salt.
Roll up the ends of the foil over the corn on the cob.
Place on the upper rack of the grill.

Grill for about 20-30 minutes, flipping every so often. I left mine on while our meat was cooking the whole time.
Remove the corn on the cob from the foil with caution. Use grill gloves, oven gloves, or tongs.

Serve! You can add more butter if you want as well

Super simple side dish! My husband does flips for fresh corn.
My mouth is literally watering!
We love Grilled Corn on the Cob and have been making this all summer. I like how easy it is to make and how so much flavor is infused into the corn by grilling it!
It is time to start grilling out and this looks like it will be perfect for our first outdoor meal. Thanks!
I love grilled corn! It gets so caramelized, which I love. My favorite way to season is with a chili-lime butter…just mix butter, chili powder and lime juice! It’s so yummy.
I can’t wait to make corn on the cob, on the grill this Spring and Summer!

I haven’t had grilled corn on the cob in ages, but you’re making me crave it like crazy! 🙂
oh this sounds like a nice trick to make perfect corn! I CANNOT WAIT for Summer BBQs again!
We LOVE grilled corn on the cob! I don’t wrap mine in foil though, I like the kernels a teeny bit charred!
Yum! Grilled corn is so good! My dad used to make it that way but he’d soak it then cook it in the husk. Amazing!
Grilled corn is the best! Can’t wait to get the grill back out
I love corn on the bar- be-que-
I haven’t tried making corn on the grill yet thanks for the recipe. Have a great week!

I love grilled corn on the cob!!
These look great, Jenny. I can’t wait for BBQ season to give them a try!
Hi Jenny. With Memorial Day approaching I just went & bought some corn too-on sale! I boil mine 1st then freeze it after it cools off a bit; then I thaw it out the day before I am going to go on a BBQ or cookout.( It’s not allowed at my Apt. Bldg.) Then I put butter & top with spices/herbs & rewrap & put into the fridge until I’m ready to pack the cooler. Thanks for sharing yours & have a Wonderful Mother’s Day! & Memorial Day Weekend!
Sounds like a great way to make corn for a cook out!! I would be lost with out being able to grill at home. Love that you find ways around it!
I am so happy that grilling season is here and this corn looks delicious.
Love this, now I am craving grilled corn 🙂
Oh yum! This sounds delicious!
Grilled corn is always a win.
would you get the same effect using the oven? if so what temp and time?
I think it would? I am really not sure though I have never done it in the oven. Let me know if you end up trying it!
Can you do this in the oven?
Been fixing it for years with coating with mayonnaise and sprinkling with Tony Chacheres Cajun seasoning for my daughter’s school class they just keep coming back
Yum, I used to do this years ago, but for some reason I stopped. (Probably because of the microwave!) The next time we grill, I’m going to do this!
That looks mouth-wateringly good! Thanks for sharing with #PoCoLo
Absolutely loved this recipe
Another option I’ve done is before I seal up the 2nd end of the foil, drop 1 ice cube in the end then seal the foil. It will steam the corn and mostly evaporate and carnalize the corn. Oh so good.
I’ve been cooking my corn on the cob like this for a couple of years. Now its the only way. Only difference is I mix my garlic salt and pepper in the butter and I am always generous to add the butter mix to the corn.
Enjoy people!!
This sounds amazing!
That sounds delicious!
