Ice Cream Floats have always been a favorite of mine!! One way I save money is to make our ice cream treats at home, plus there are always seconds available. Plus at home, it’s always easy to make seconds or make it your way easily!
While root beer floats are amazing, finding other ways to make them, an ice cream float can be fun. Now thank goodness for Pinterest and Amazon for recipes for inspiration! Protein shakes are a great way to change the flavor and make it healthier.

- Pineapple French Cream Float– This combines homemade French Cream with pineapple juice to make an almost Dole Whip. Amazing frozen treat.
- Raspberry Tea Floats– Use raspberry tea to make a tasty ice cream treat!
- Dr. Pepper Floats-This takes your favorite soda and adds it into a float for an amazing ice cream treat.
- Classic Root Beer Float– One of my family’s favorite go-to! Nothing beats this classic on a hot day!
- Copycat Chick-fil-A Frosted Lemonade- Your favorite drive-thru drink but made at home. This is easy to make at home and a copycat recipe that is easy on the pocketbook.
- Watermelon Agua Fresca Float– Use fresh watermelon to make a refreshing treat, perfect for summertime!
- Rose and Raspberry Float-Use frozen fruit to make this refreshing ice cream float. Perfect for when berries are out of season.
- Banana Root Beer Float-Adds a fruity twist on a classic Root Beer float!
- Chocolate Stout Float-Combines chocolate and coffee. Perfect, pick me up on those hot days!
