Waffle Donuts are so much fun and so easy to make! I love to make treats at home, and Isabella insisted that we take these to the next level with sprinkles! You could make these so many different ways and never be disappointed. (I have included affiliate links to products I love. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.)
I love that is controlled on the number that is being made by how many biscuits in the can. That means there no over making the dough to make too many donuts. Since they aren’t fried they are slightly healthy (again its bread) but also the clean up is a breeze. I love that there is no oil to clean up!! We found the recipe on the Pillsbury website -> here. You can also make donuts with oil out of biscuit dough if you want (see how -> here) as well. My kids loved these and all of them were gone that night.

Waffle Donuts Ingredients:
- 1 can Pillsbury Grands!™ Flaky Layers refrigerated original or buttermilk biscuits
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa, if desired
- Sprinkles for decorating
Waffle Donuts Directions:
Start by spraying your waffle maker with cooking spray (I use my Homemade Non Stick Spray)
Take biscuits out and separate them.
Put 1 biscuit in the center of the waffle maker and close the lid
Cook the biscuit for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining biscuits.
While making the biscuits mix together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla with whisk until combined. If you want a chocolate glaze add the baking cocoa; stir until combined.
Dip at least one side of each donut into the glaze. And place on a baking rack to allow the icing to drip off. I did both sides for a sweeter doughnut. Top with sprinkles if you want.
