This Red Velvet Cake Mix Cookies Recipe is Michaels’s favorite out of the cake mix cookies we made! We went on a cookie baking frenzy using cake mixes. I have to say he loved that Isabella was baking up a storm and loved being the taste tester! (I have included affiliate links to products I love. Isabella is obsessed with baking, and I love it when we can find easy recipes she can do pretty much on her own. By the time we got ot this batch of cookies all I was doing was checking for proper mixing since the batter is thick and she did the rest of the work.
Red Velvet Cake Mix Cookies Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 Box Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 2 Eggs
- ½ Cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 Cup White Chocolate Chips
How To Make Red Velvet Cake Mix Cookies:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees before starting the cookies.
In a bowl mix together your ingredients, this worked well with a spoon.
Use a nonstick cookie sheet or place parchment paper on your cookie sheet. Now I use the parchment paper when I am making a lot of cookies or different varieties. This way I just rip off the paper and lay down a fresh paper since I don’t have to wash the pan in between batches. I have to say I love to bake but man the dishes can add up!
Now my next baking secret is I used a cookie scoop to scoop out the batter if you aren’t using a cookie scoop to make cookies you are doing it wrong! (You can grab one -> here on Amazon)
Next bake for about 12 minutes in your preheated oven. Be sure to adjust the time if you know your oven cooks hot or not.
This made about 19 cookies for me.
Store in an airtight container or Ziploc bag.

I haven’t tried these yet but I’m very excited to try them. Could I make these with milk chocolate chips instead of white chips?
THANK YOU so much for your quick recipes. I don’t have the time like I used to.
