This Guinness Crock Pot Pork Roast And Vegetables Recipe is now a new family favorite. While we were experimenting with Guinness Blonde Ale, I tried it out with a pork shoulder roast in the freezer. It turned out amazing; the kids even devoured their vegetables!

Last week I made Guinness Crockpot Corned Beef And Cabbage Recipe and Corned Beef And Cabbage Dutch Oven Recipe, both of which were made using Guinness Blonde Ale. I love the flavor this added to the roast and the vegetables! I plan to find more recipes using Guinness beer in the feature.Â
Guinness Crock Pot Pork Roast And Vegetables Ingredients:
- Pork Shoulder Roast– I love to use boneless roasts for this; the meat just falls apart as it cooks. If you do use boneless the roast will cook just fine.
- Guinness Beer Blonde-This was discontinued in 2020 but you can use any Blonde Irish Ale or Blonde Ale
- Red Onions
- Baby Potatoes
- Baby Carrots
- Celery
- Thyme
- Rosemary

How To Make Guinness Pork Roast In Crock Pot With Vegetables :
Spray your crockpot with a nonstick spray, or use a slow cooker liner to make clean-up a breeze.
Using my 8-quart crockpot means I have space to make a big batch to have the leftovers!!
Pour in your cup of broth; I used Better Than Bouillon beef base. Â
Place your roast into your crockpot with the broth.
Start by layering your vegetables into the crockpot; I do my potatoes first, then layer the rest.Â
Pour your beer on top of everything, and make sure there is enough liquid to cover everything.Â

Season to your taste and turn to low for at least 5 hours.

Serve and enjoy!! I paired mine with a Guinness Blonde Ale!
