This Coca-Cola Slow Cooker BBQ Kielbasa Recipe is a family favorite.  With the start of football season, we love to share our favorite tailgating foods! I have found out that Michael loves to eat food on toothpicks.

Coca-Cola Slow Cooker Kielbasa On A Toothpick

Michael is always helping with making our game day food, which was a good one for him to help with. He can slice the kielbasa with a knife and then pour everything into the slow cooker.  All I had to do was make sure he turned on the crockpot.

Sliced Kielbasa with a bottle of coca cola and a bowl of bbq sauce

Coca-Cola Slow Cooker BBQ Kielbasa Ingredients:

Coca-Cola-You can change this with any dark soca, Diet Coke, Root Beer, Dr. Pepper, or Coke Zero. The soda flavor will alter the taste a bit, but it will work.

BBQ Sauce-I used honey BBQ sauce, but you can use any.

Pork Kielbasa Ropes– or regular kielbasa

How To Make Coca-Cola Slow Cooker BBQ Kielbasa

Spray your slow cooker with nonstick spray or line with a crockpot liner. If you skip this step, the sugar from the bbq sauce and the Coca-Cola will be a pain to clean up.

Combine the Coca-Cola and BBQ sauce separately in a measuring glass or a spouted mixing bowl. I am a fan of the Pyrex Measuring Cups for this step.

Slice your kielbasa into small, round pieces.

Place the sliced kielbasa in the slow cooker and pour the Coca-Cola BBQ sauce over it.

  1. Never thought of using polish kielbasa with coke, have made with little smokies, but we like kielbasa best and this will be on our table for snacks tomorrow, for the game and family visit, thank you for reminding me of other things we can do with Coca Cola
