This Cheesy Tuna Panini is one of my go-to work lunches to make at home! Personally, I love how easy it is to make and it always fills me up! (I have included affiliate links to products I love. School is starting here and the weather is finally starting to cool off! That means a lot of our routine is changing and it will be back to just me for lunchtime! I was excited this summer to find a great deal on a Panini press 4 in 1. With working from home it can get really boring making the same food, especially ones on the healthy side Bumble Bee® Tuna has always been one of my favorite quick sandwiches to makeup and it’s a great lean protein as well.
Cheesy Tuna Panini Ingredients:
- 1 5 oz Can Of Bumble Bee® Chunk White Albacore Tuna In Water
- 1-2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
- Garlic Salt
- Celery
- 2 Slices Bread
How To Make Cheesy Tuna Panini Directions:
Open your can of tuna and drain the water out of the can.
Turn on your Panini press and allow it to warm up to cook your sandwich.
Mix together your tuna, mayo, garlic salt, and celery.
Be sure to use low-fat or fat-free mayo to bring down the calorie amount in the sandwich.
Split the mixture in half to make one sandwich on the panini press.
Spread mixture out on a slice of bread and top with cheese and second slice of bread.
Place the sandwich on the warm Panini Pessand let it cook. (This is the one I have -> here and love it the plates are removable to make it a griddle as well)
I served mine with some plain tortilla chips.

Besides using Bumble Bee tuna for a tuna fish sandwich, I also like to use it to make tuna macaroni salad and add to to my baked mac and cheese. Instead of using celery, i like to dice up pickles and blend them into my tuna.

Our favorite is just to make a nice tuna salad. Don’t usually toast it though – just plain white bread!
