School is starting here, and the weather is finally cooling off! That means our routine is changing, and it will be back to just me for lunchtime! I was excited this summer to find a great deal on a Panini press 4 in 1. Working from home it can get boring making the same food, especially ones on the healthy side.
Cheesy Tuna Panini Ingredients:
- Tuna– You could use tuna in oil or tuna in water, I prefer the tuna in the water vs the oil.
- Mayonnaise
- Garlic Salt
- Celery
- Bread

How To Make Cheesy Tuna Panini Directions:
Open your can of tuna and drain the water out of the can.
Turn on your Panini press and allow it to warm up to cook your sandwich.
Mix your tuna, mayo, garlic salt, and celery.
Be sure to use low-fat or fat-free mayo to reduce the calorie amount in the sandwich.

Split the mixture in half to make one sandwich on the panini press.
Spread mixture out on a slice of bread and top with cheese and second slice of bread.

Place the sandwich on the warm Panini Press and let it cook. (This is the one I have -> here and love it the plates are removable to make it a griddle as well)
I served mine with some plain tortilla chips.

What To Serve With Tuna And Cheese Panini

Besides using Bumble Bee tuna for a tuna fish sandwich, I also like to use it to make tuna macaroni salad and add to to my baked mac and cheese. Instead of using celery, i like to dice up pickles and blend them into my tuna.

Our favorite is just to make a nice tuna salad. Don’t usually toast it though – just plain white bread!
