I am obsessed with Margarita Bucket drinks, they are my favorite when we go out to eat. Can you get any better than a sand bucket filled with a tasty Margarita? I know when we go out the sticker price at the bars…. and then when you get a drink with a blah mixer can really ruin it.
Thank you to Demitris for sponsoring this Margarita Bucket post and providing mixers! (I have included affiliate links to products I love. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.) Now I have been loving learning to make cocktails at home and am blessed to have a girlfriend that was a bartender! Let’s face it while going out is fun it’s really about the people you are with so making drinks at home can be a ton of fun! We had buckets at a restaurant last year so when we go together for hanging out we know these Margarita Buckets were the perfect drinks to make for summertime!

Now I am not new to the Demitris Bloody Mary mix! This is the one we buy regularly anyhow for all those early morning football games, the bummer part of living on the west coast is early Sunday games! However, I am more of a Margarita so when Demitris sent me Organic Demitri’s Margarita Mix and 38 Calorie Demitri’s Margarita Mix I was ecstatic! Now I am blessed that my girlfriend Jenn is a tequila girl too!

How To Make Margarita Sand Bucket drink:
Pick out your serving containers, I picked up sand buckets at the dollar store to serve these up in! (Plus pink flamingo straws)
Slice up your garnishes I did slices of limes and cut Maraschino Cherry in half for mixing into my drink and as a garnish

Fill your bucket up with ice.
Now I used a food scale to get accurate measurements to pour in the liquids because even though it’s a cocktail I still need to track.

I started with 10 1/2 ounces of tequila (you can go lower or higher) and I was shooting for nine… but I overpoured

Finish filling the bucket with the Organic Demitri’s Margarita Mix and mix in some of the limes and cherries if you want.
Garnish and enjoy!

Now I messed up and waited till this point to put on Margarita salt but you could do it at the beginning! I rubbed a lime slice along the top and then sprinkled it on the salt. I am a bit odd because I like the salt in my drink too.

I love the bucket idea. It’s been so long since I’ve had a drink. I’ll have to make me a virgin margarita.
