ChickenThis Easy Cheesy Shrimp Alfredo recipe is one I have been making for the kids for years.  The only difference now I have learned is to add in more cheeses; trust me on this it knocks the flavor up a whole another level for alfredo and flavor!!

Now the first time in 2015, I had to reach out to some friends because I had never bought shrimp to cook at home or cooked it myself. I headed to the meat department to get shrimp and fry it up in my skillet. I had no idea that you need to either buy deveined shrimp or divine it yourself; I prefer to buy them deveined just because there is less prep work. However, we do still have to pop off the tail of the shrimp before cooking and we are good to go!

How To Make Shrimp Alfredo:

Boil water and cook your fettuccine until it is done; strain your fettuccine in a strainer.

Prepare your shrimp, I used pre-cooked deveined shrimp from the meat department for less work.

Melt in skillet butter with minced garlic to your liking, I used about 2 Tablespoons worth of minced garlic.

Saute your shrimp in the butter and garlic until cooked through.

Cut up your bacon and fry it up to the doneness that your family prefers in another pan. We like chewier bacon vs crispy.

If you want to take it to the next level fry up the shrimp in the bacon grease and then add it into the final product.

In a stockpot, mix together your alfredo sauce and all the extra cheeses to melt together, allow to simmer on low to make sure the cheese is melted.
