Bake the cake as directed on the pan until done.
When the cake is done baking allow to cool for about 30 minutes and then turn upside down on a cooling rack on a cookie sheet.
Carefully remove the pan from the cake.
Divide the container of frosting into three bowls.
Microwave the first bowl of white frosting for about 5-10 seconds
Using a spoon drizzle the frosting around the cake
Microwave the second bowl of frosting for 5-10 seconds then mix a couple of drops of blue food coloring.
Using a spoon drizzle the blue frosting over the cake and white frosting.
Microwave the third bowl of frosting for 5-10 seconds then mix a couple of drops of red food coloring.
Using a spoon drizzle the red frosting over the cake with the blue and white frosting.
Sprinkle with sprinkles if you want!
Allow the frosting to set before putting it on your serving platter or your carrier.
This could also be changed up for the holidays with different color frosting and sprinkles!
