Monster Jam Triple Threat Series is a show from Monster Jam your whole family will love to watch! I was a little jealous Michael had the chance to go see Monster Jam a couple of years ago in Portland, OR with my nephew, my dad, and my brother as a guys night. Before this weekend I had never seen the Monster Jam show before besides clip on the internet and commercials. Thank you to Monster Jam for providing tickets to my show for reviewing purposes. Regardless of that, all opinions in this post belong to Cook Eat Go and are truthful to our experience with the event. (I have included affiliate links to products I love. We kept missing the Monster Jam when it comes to town due to soccer for Michael. (You can see the whole tour and get tickets -> here, if you are in the PNW they are coming to Seattle and Portland still) Thankfully this year it worked out great with no soccer games for him on Friday night. Now I had no idea what I was in for for the show thankfully my dad sent me a text saying to pick up earplugs!
Now Monster Jam does have your back in that aspect if you don’t bring any they sell them! They were selling at the Tacoma Dome for $10 outside the building or $20 inside the building. Not a bad price but if you aren’t planning it will catch you off guard if you weren’t expecting it.

We picked up construction type ones that worked well but you can order a different variety on Amazon ahead of time. What we had for Michael worked great but if he was younger noise canceling would have been the way to go!
Before Monster Jam Triple Threat Series Show:
We got to the Tacoma Dome early since we hadn’t been to a show there before! Now I am sure it is the same at any of the shows but keep an eye out for the Monster Truck Drivers. Michael was so excited to get his picture taken with Brandon Vinson the driver for Grave Digger!!
Lots of souvenirs were for sale before the show as well as snacks!! We took our seats early and listened to the interviews with all the drivers!! Michael loved learning about who was driving which Monster Truck. The souvenirs included Monster Truck Set With Kinetic Sand (See them -> here), T-shirts, Cups, Hats, and more all from Monster Jam!
What is Monster Jam Triple Threat Series?
The Monster Jam Triple Threat is made up of six different competitions of speed, racing, and freestyle stunts! It’s not just Monster Trucks but also Monster Jam Speedsters and Monster Jam ATVs, there are 8 monster trucks in total! They competed for points in Freestyle, 2 Wheel Skills Challenge™, Backflip stunts, and several Racing competitions.

What You Will See at The Monster Jam Triple Threat Series:
There is no way, to sum up, everything you can see at the show! I will say Michael’s favorite was the truck stunts. We saw truck standing on two wheels and driving on two wheels, it was an amazing sight to be seen.
Broken trucks! This made Michael laugh as soon as we knew the drivers will okay, I will say my heart stopped when they wrecked. My mom brain went to the worst-case scenario for the driver every time! If Michael was younger I know he would have been upset we heard a boy crying cause Grave Digger was broken in the last event. The disabled Monster Trucks were removed and flipped over by Cat Front Loaders.
Voting for who wins!! All of the competitions that had points were based on fan votes. Michael loved being able to vote for the drivers. Make sure your battery is full or bring a battery pack for your phone.
I loved being able to see Grave Digger in action that night! My brother was obsessed with this Monster Truck when he was little, it was a fun story to share with Michael.

Great tips for going to Monster Jam! If I had boys, I’m sure we’d totally have been there, but not my girls’ thing. But it sounds very cool!
