How To Make Apple Crisp From Canned Pie Filling
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, sugar, apple pie seasoning, and salt. Be sure to rotate the bowl around to evenly mix the ingredients.

Melt your butter. You can do this in a pan on the stove; I did mine in the microwave.
Pour the melted butter over the oat topping and mix with a spatula till everything is coated in butter.
Grease your baking pan. I used an 8×8 dish to bake mine in; a 9×13 will be really thin/short if you use that size. You can use a nonstick spray. I prefer to use Crisco in my baking dishes.
Pour in your apple pie filling into your baking dish.

Top the apple pie filling with the buttered oatmeal crumble topping.

Bake for 45 minutes, the topping will be golden and the filling will bubble.
Allow to cool a bit and serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
This is one of those dishes that is messy when you dish it, but so good to eat.

How To Store Apple Crisp With Oat Topping
After it has properly cooled, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days after making.
How To Reheat
You can reheat in the microwave, in the oven, or in the air fryer. Each device will vary in how fast it cooks, so be sure to keep an eye on it.
