Is there anything better than Oreos? Wait until you try this 2-Ingredient Oreo Bark recipe! Fast, easy, and no-bake recipes are my jam over the summer and during the holiday season, especially at Christmas time.

Oreo desserts are a hit with all the kids. Can you think of any Oreo treats you haven’t liked? They are also a hit at all our potlucks and family gatherings.
A fun fact I learned last year: most Oreos are vegan. Making this with nondairy chips will make the dessert vegan.
The last time we made this bark, we also made a mint Oreo bark. We couldn’t pick a favorite and have so many ideas for more bark variations.
Oreo Bark ingredients
- Regular Oreo Cookies: The next time I make this, I plan to try it with the peanut butter Oreos the next time.
- White Chocolate Chips—You could use almond bark. I could only find vanilla almond bark, and I didn’t feel it would taste right.

How To Make Oreo Bark
Count out your Oreos and place them in a ziploc bag. Do not seal the bag completely.

Use a meat pounder or rolling pin to crush the Oreos. You can crush them as large or as fine as you want. I let Bella do this part. If the kids are younger, monitor them if they puncture the bag.
Spread wax paper on a baking sheet or casserole pan; it must fit in your freezer. The wax paper will make it easy to lift the bark out whole and not stick to the dish.
Parchment paper or freezer paper can also be used.
Set a medium saucepan on your stovetop and set the burner to low. You will want this pan to be nonstick so the chocolate doesn’t stick.
If you don’t want to use just a pan, you can make a double boiler with water in a saucepan and a dish set down into the boiling water.
Allow the pan to warm slightly, and pour in your white chocolate chips.

Start stirring slowly with a spatula or a wooden spoon. This will allow the chocolate to melt evenly and prevent it from burning.
Stir until all the chips have melted, then pour in your crushed Oreos. You will want to do this fast as the chocolate will start to harden.

Once mixed, use your spatula to spread the melted chocolate and Oreos onto the lined baking sheet or dish.
You can top it with whole Oreos or sprinkle with more crushed Oreos. Â Bella commented that next time, she wants to sprinkle crumbles of Reese’s candy on it.

Store in the freezer for at least two hours until hardened and for the chocolate to set.

Remove and crush with a meat pounder or by hand to make chunks of Oreo bark.
*Pro Tip* Put another layer of paper over the bark to stop pieces from flying

How To Make Oreo Bark In The Microwave
Use a microwave-safe bowl and spread your chips out in it.
You will want to microwave the mixture in 30-second spurts until softened, stirring every 10 seconds until it has melted.

Ways To Serve Oreo Bark
- You can make more uniform pieces of fudge using a sharp knife.
- Make the bark into a gift or with other desserts in a cute holiday food container. (Seriously, food makes the best gift)
- You can serve this on a cookie or dessert charcuterie board as well.
How To Store Oreo Cookie Bark
Oreo bark will stay fresh the longest if stored in a Ziploc bag or an airtight container in the refrigerator. This will store for up to 5 days this way after making.
You can store it at room temperature instead of the fridge in an airtight container or bag, but it will be soft and not stay as fresh.
After breaking apart your Oreo bark, you freeze it for up to three months after making it in a proper container. Allow it to set out and warm up a bit before serving so it’s not too hard.

Storing leftovers properly requires the right tools! My preferred storage method is if the leftovers can be sealed in a food saver. If not, then an air-tight container or Ziploc bag for the fridge is the way I go. The airtight container or a freezer Ziploc bag are the next best bet for freezing the leftovers. I also use a food scale to measure portions into serving sizes.
