Now our sports viewing tends to happen during the sports season for the kids as well. I love using my crockpot to make up unique sports foods!! The best part is that I can roll out of bed, walk into the kitchen, dump this in the slow cooker, and crawl back into bed if the game is on early!!

- Coca-Cola-You can change this up with any dark soca, Diet Coke, Root Beer, Dr. Pepper, or Coke Zero. The soda flavor will alter the taste a bit, but it will work.
- BBQ sauce– I used honey bbq, but you can use any bbq sauce flavor.
- Salt
- Pepper
- Minced Onion
How To Make Coca-Cola Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs:
Spray your slow cooker with a non-stick spray or line with a crockpot liner.

Lay your ribs in the slow cooker. I cut mine down in size a bit because the strips were so long.
Season to taste with salt, pepper, minced onion, and any other seasonings of choice.

Pour in your Coca-Cola and BBQ sauce.
Give a bit of a stir to make sure it’s mixed and the ribs are coated.
Turn the slow cooker on low and cook for 4 to 6 hours.

Be sure to use a meat thermometer to make sure your ribs are cooked all the way and enjoy!
“Done” is 145-degrees, but you might prefer 180-degrees to make them tender.
