I love to cook with my kids, and when they were younger, the fewer ingredients, the better the recipe was for cooking with them. As they are older now, they value easy recipes meaning less work. You will love how fast and easy this cake is to make and how few steps there are to it!

Crushed Pineapple– You will use all the juices and everything in the can of crushed pineapple.

Angel Food Cake Mix– You will not need any other ingredients listed on the box for this recipe.

How To Make 2 ingredient pineapple cake

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Lightly grease with a nonstock spray in a 9X13 baking pan. I prefer to use the Pyrex pan with a lid to easily store the leftovers.

Combine the crushed pineapple and angel food cake in a large bowl.

Angel Food Cake Mix combined with crushed pineapple

Use a spatula or a silicone spoon to mix the angel food cake and crushed pineapple; stir slowly to avoid powder spilling out. I tried to use a whisk but felt like it did not do an excellent job of mixing the batter the way it needed to be done.

The batter will bubble up quite a bit as you mix the pineapple with the angel food cake powder, but this is normal.

Once everything is mixed, you can tell by no dry angel food cake mix; use a spatula to scrape from the bow into the baking pan.

Spread the batter into the baking pan evenly and then place in your preheated oven.

Bake for 30 minutes and then remove from oven.

**There will be some browning as it bakes. This is normal and to be expected**

HOW TO SERVE two ingredient angel food cake with pineapple

Cut the cake into about 4-inch slices for serving with a thin knife. A serrated knife or bread knife may not cut the fluffy angel food cake.

We sprinkled the baked cake with a little bit of powdered sugar after it had cooled some to add some color to it and some

Top with whipped topping, cool whip, or spray whip cream on the top of cake slices or slices of cake.

Add more pineapple pieces to the whipped topping to dress up the dessert.
